TRILLIONS MISSING FROM PENTAGON BOOKS

"Disappearing $21 trillion from 1998 to 2015, and unsupported accounting adjustments were found in the Department of Defense books as far exceeding the entire annual U.S. GDP—17 years, $21 trillion.

The $2 billion zombie program: The Pentagon continued to fund a $2 billion satellite program for years after it had already been canceled—it's been canceled, but they keep spending $2 billion.

The F-35 fighter jet fiasco costs over $1.7 trillion, making it the most expensive weapon system ever; despite this, the aircraft has been plagued with issues, from software bugs to parts shortages."

Definitely went in someone’s pocket.

reply

Musk pocket.

reply

Your stupidity is truly impressive. Just when I think you've said the dumbest shit ever, you top yourself.

reply

The worst part is that Keelai is a troll who posts these things to deliberately get a response, thinking "ooh, I played them!"

But what kind of a person sets out each morning to get as many people as possible to say"you're a retard"? It's so sad.

reply

Either a dumb masochist or a Chinabot. Either way, it's a twat.

I made a rhyme!

My goal is to inform, learn and exchange ideas in Politics.

Trump fired employees who safeguard nukes, realized his stupidity and now he's having a problem finding them in order to rehire. He's an idiot. If you support him, then you must be an idiot, too. That's only an obvious observation.

reply

Shocking.

The F35 program was a disaster from the start. To boot, they wasted billions more retiring F16's, F15's, nearly everything in favor of a fleet of nothing but F18's.

reply

Will DOGE be doing a deep dive into pentagon spending?

No doubt a lot of money spent on defense ends up lining some very wealthy peoples' pockets. How much waste, fraud and abuse will they find at the pentagon?

They've made massive cuts to medical programs and money meant to help people get things they need like health insurance. Let's see what they say when they look into stuff where the money goes to the wealthy.

reply

Trump-Musk are basically stealing money from the poor to give to the rich aka themselves.

Project 2025 is supposed to add money for military spending, but first they're going to replace competence and experience with loyalists.

reply

Maybe some of Elon Musk’s competitors. But that’s it.

reply

Why did they stop at 1998?

1997 was clean as a whistle?

reply

Every department and agency DOGE has audited has millions, billions or trillions missing or unaccounted for.

I'm willing to wager that the rest of the departments they audit/investigate will have similar results.
