He said he would bring down prices on day 1. What happened?
Also there's this, from NBC News:
On the campaign trail, Donald Trump vowed to quickly end the war in Ukraine. He’d do it in “24 hours” after taking the oath, he said, or even before his inauguration.
Are YOU? I guess I should have put in quotation marks to emphasize that those were tRump's actual words.
Chew on this:
"Last week, a poll by YouGov for CBS News found that 66% of Americans think tRump isn’t focusing enough on lowering prices. And it’s not a Democrat-leaning panel, either: 53% approve of the job he’s doing as president, while 47% disapprove."
(Paul died in 1966. Everybody knows that!)
Do you not remember him saying that it would take some time to lower prices? Saying he'd end crises in 24 hours is a way of reassurance that he'll try to fix it. And right now, he seems to be discussing about how the war can end.
You Deplorables have four years to practice your rationalizations.
In August 2024, then-candidate former President Donald Trump delivered a press conference surrounded by packaged foods, meats, produce, condiments, milk and eggs.
“When I win, I will immediately bring prices down, starting on Day One,” he said at the time.
It was a pledge he repeated on the campaign trail, often followed by the phrase, “drill, baby, drill.” And to many voters, inflation was a justifiable target: Years of sharply rising prices had taken a toll on their hard-earned pay and their livelihoods.
But Day One has turned into Day Seven, and those eggs are getting even more expensive.
“When I win, I will immediately bring prices down, starting on Day One,” he said at the time.
Exactly, and it's only been "3 weeks"; meanwhile Biden had 4 years and did nothing except make it worse. Where was your outrage during that time? ... Hypocrite
Read up! Biden's no longer the issue. How do you explain away tRump's impotence re the price of eggs ( or anything)? You read what he said: “When I win, I will immediately bring prices down, starting on Day One.” Seems like he's the proverbial Emperor with No Clothes On, lulz!
He most certainly is the issue since Trump inherited Biden's failed and shitty economy.
How do you explain away tRump's impotence re the price of eggs ( or anything)?
Biden's failure to improve the economy.

You are purposely flooding the site with garbage. All those things happened years ago, YEARS! So with that in mind please respond to the topic, viz., does the Emperor have any clothes?
"When I win, I will immediately bring prices down, starting on Day One.”
You better get your blame-game together. That Biden schtick isn't working anymore.
"When I win, I will immediately bring prices down, STARTING ON DAY ONE."
You do realize that he eventually said that it would take some time to lower prices? It was like, a few days before he was inaugurated or something. He was just being his boastful-self as usual.
And for all your talk about lowering prices, Trump's goal and end game is to take short-term risks for making long-term gain & profit for the country, and that was common knowledge months before he was elected. It's a shame you apparently weren't prepared for that.
