Russia did interfere with the election in 2016 with a massive social media campaign. That's been shown.

And that's different than what Trump and his people did, claiming the actual vote was rigged and trying to get Mike Pence to stop certification while a riot is going on inside the capital building, instead of trying to stop the riot. That did happen.

Comparing those two things is really dumb.

putting fake ads on twitter and facebook is NOT hijacking an election. Putin would have to hack into the voting machines or do ballot dumps like dems did in 2020.

nobody is claiming he hacked voting machines
it was shown he *did* do a social media propaganda campaign that did not affect the result

Thats why the term "interfere" is used as opposed to "rigged " or "hacked"
