Dems need to prioritize voters whose eyes glaze over like ADHD kids' in algebra class when policy comes up.

Huge mistake not to talk about Trump at all in her speeches and to scale back attack ads and focus on policies that they feel poll well and seem popular.

They need to learn to learn to go for the jugular. Run those scary, dramatic sort of attack ads like the Republicans do. There were plenty of things they could use to go after Trump. Instead of a woman talking about being denied important medical care or having Harris say she's pro choice, show us a dramatic scene of a woman in an ER who's going through life threatening complications.

That's my one piece of campaign advice for the Democrats, not that anyone cares of course because why would they.

what!?!? this is exactly why she lost the election!! because she offered zero ideas! just "but trump..!"

she went on fox news and did 27 minutes of "but trump..."

you really dont understand why you lost the election do you? you think people care more about pronouns and an abortion for some girl who got one thrown up her on spring break than being able to put gas in their cars and food on the table.

you people are so far from reality and out of touch,it's insane!!!!!

The trump campaign went 100 percent negative with their advertising.

In the last week or two of the campaign, the Harris campaign actually backed off of Trump in favor of talking about things like policy and changing the tone.

And the ads they do that are critical of Trump and the right aren't nearly as dramatic or scary as what Trump's campaign was putting out. I'm not just talking about the focus of the ads, but the approach they use. Drama, emotion tend to stick with some people. They remember those ads. Anything talking about how to help small businesses or insuring more people doesn't register that much with some.

What are you talking about? Kamalaā€™s closing arguments were literally ā€œyeah I know I suck but vote for me because Trump is the next Hitlerā€. Kamala ran the dirtiest campaign in US History, she spread lies, conspiracy theories, disinformation and slander. Sheā€™s a lowlife bitch of a candidate and Trump needs to have the justice system hold her accountable. We as a nation need to make sure that a worthless bitch like Kamala never gets so close to the presidency ever again.

That approach wouldnā€™t have worked for her. She was simply a terrible candidate. Talking about policy can be a good strategy ā€” especially when the policy is popular, as many left wing economic policies are ā€” but you need someone charismatic to sell it. Just imagine if Bernie Sanders had been running instead of her. I donā€™t see him getting down and dirty with negativity. Heā€™d focus on making his case for the right policies, framing the election around the issues that matter most to Americans. He would come across as a more serious, well-informed figure with good intentions and policies that could genuinely improve peopleā€™s lives.
