Because the tv TOLD them to blame Trump for what happened, and lied about everything that occurred that day through the news, and idiots stupid enough to believe what the news had to say bought it hook, line, and sinker.

Same reason Obama still lies about "very fine people". As early as last month when he was on his scolding tour for Kama. These are not good people. They are terrible people. simple as that.
