Will undocumented immigrants/non citizens be voting or not?

That seems to be a theory with regards to the Democrats having allowed apparently unfettered crossings of the US southern border.

If so, how will it work? How does a non citizen vote in a US election? Is the US electoral system so readily susceptible to such things?

reply

Non citizens including illegals aren't allowed to vote, but dems let them. All so they can remain in power.

How does that work tho? How is it actually doable?

Surely it goes something like this:

When you register to vote, you provide proof of identity/citizenship. You are then added to the list of registered voters for your area/electorate.

When you vote at a polling station, you provide your name and it's ticked off the list of registered voters in your area/electorate. You then vote.

If you are not registered, your name will not be on the list and you will not get to vote.

Is that how it works?

Faking driver's license, or state issued ID #s has been going on since their inception.

"When you register to vote, you provide proof of identity/citizenship."

If by "proof" you mean "declare under penalty of perjury..."

It's been a lifetime ago, but I don't remember providing any ID when I first registered to vote in California...

Maybe we should be cross-referencing voter registration rolls with people registered for Selective Service "the draft."

https://www.sss.gov/register/who-needs-to-register/

U.S. immigrants are required by law to register with the Selective Service System 30 days after their 18th birthday or 30 days after entry into the United States if they are between the ages of 18 and 25. This includes U.S. born and naturalized citizens, parolees, undocumented immigrants, legal permanent residents, asylum seekers, refugees, and all males with visas of any kind which expired more than 30 days ago.

The few individuals who are exempt from this requirement are those on current non-immigrant visas, as long as they remain on a valid visa up until they turn 26. If you have received a letter from us requesting that you register, please send us copies of supporting documentation to show you are exempt.

Dual Nationals
U.S. dual nationals are required by law to register with the Selective Service System within 30 days of their 18th birthday, regardless of whether they live inside or outside of the U.S. Dual nationals residing outside of the U.S. can register using a foreign address here.

I guess women don't need to register for the draft - woke or not?
