Oh, wow. It seems there are many MAGA supporters who would die for Trump and some who would not. Several blamed Trump, and others attacked them for blaming him... while they were stranded.
I'm curious as to why there were apparently no backup safety plans in case something like this happened. If you go to an event like this, the logical thing to do is to expect transportation to be ready at a scheduled time prior to the final stage of the even. It's like getting to a plane on time.

‘Absolute chaos’ as Trump supporters ‘left stranded’ after Coachella rally hit by assassination scare
While thousands of supporters were bussed into Calhoun Ranch, which was situated about five miles away from where they parked their vehicles, people attending claimed the event organizers had neglected transport for the return journey. And instead of being shuttled away from the venue after Trump exited the stage at about 7pm PT following a near-90-minute address, many attendees were left stranded in 93F heat, according to video footage on social media. Another clip posted to X, which had since been deleted, saw a rally-goer reportedly claim that there was “only one bus in rotation” which took half an hour for each drop off.
In the footage, flashing lights from police cars illuminate the disgruntled faces of Trump supporters seemingly left behind, with one heard condemning the organizer’s “failures” that had led to the delay in being returned to the parking lot.
Sharing the video footage on X, The Tennessee Holler claimed that many of those left waiting for transport to the car park were elderly.
The former president’s campaign has faced a slew of backlash online for the purported organizational errors.
“@realDonaldTrump can’t run a rally, and you think he can run the country?,” wrote The Mic Podcast host Ryan Shead. “He doesn’t care about his supporters. You think he cares about you?”
While the Republicans Against Trump account added: “Thousands of people were stranded after the Trump rally in Coachella on Saturday night. The Trump campaign provided buses to bring people to the rally but no busses showed up to take them back to their cars. “Trump doesn’t care about anyone but himself.”
Donald Trump Followers Left Stranded in Desert After Coachella Rally: 'Chaos'
Hundreds of Donald Trump followers were left stranded in the California desert after a rally in the Coachella Valley over the weekend.
The rally was held at an outdoor venue where temperatures soared to over 100 degrees. Despite the intense heat, thousands of passionate Trump supporters braved the elements to hear the former president speak. During the rally, some supporters reportedly collapsed because of the stifling heat.
Prior to the event, several buses were provided to transport supporters to the rally location. However, after the rally, poorly organized transportation logistics and a lack of basic services left many attendees scrambling to find their way home, with many stranded miles from their cars after the event ended, as reported by the Times of San Diego.
Videos posted on X, formerly Twitter, show a large number of people waiting in line after the rally. One, filmed from a bus departing the venue, has what appears to be a bus driver shouting to those waiting telling them that this is the last bus, with another passenger saying: "No more buses, they just got notice."
A different video posted by an attendee shows the aftermath, describing it as "chaos," with many facing the prospect of an estimated "two-hour walk" through the desert to get back to a parking lot, likely without water or shelter.
This is not the first time attendees have been left high and dry after one of Trump's rallies. As reported previously by Newsweek, rally-goers were left stranded in the cold in 2020 after a Trump event in Omaha when coaches failed to pick them up.
