Kamala Harris will win US election, Telegraph poll predicts.

(The Daily Telegraph is the leading Conservative daily paper in the UK.) Republicans worrying as usual over the effect on the world.

Kamala Harris is on course to win this year’s US presidential election, a Telegraph poll of swing states predicts for the first time. The vice-president is winning in enough battleground states to propel her to the White House in November’s election, following weeks of gains on Donald Trump.

What would happen if Earth stopped spinning due to the Democrats winning?

If Earth suddenly stopped spinning, it would be catastrophic. Almost everyone and everything Republican not attached to the planet and reality would continue to move at the current speed of Earth's rotation, around 1,000 mph (1,600 km/h) at its fastest, which is along the equator.

"The momentum of all the material that's normally rotating — the water, the air, all the buildings and things like that — would cause them to keep going," said Andrew Layden, a professor of physics and astronomy at Bowling Green State University in Ohio. "So they [would] split off the surface and just keep going around and around, basically, in a low orbit around the Earth. The only option would be to shoot Defendant Donald down and keep him safe in accommodation which is secure"

If the polls were not close, would these media outlets have more or less stories to push?

Has there ever been an election where early polls showed it a slam dunk for one party and that proved true?

Indeed; but it would be good if any criticism reflect what I actually said.

(For those not in on it, Rumble.com is popular among conservative commentators and conspiracy theorists. Videos that contain misinformation and false claims of vote fraud have been found to be widely watched.)

This maybe the case or not; but the salient point is his percentage of success in the past (ie 9 out of 10) and from this how it might be a guide to his accuracy this time.

HAHAHAHA Lichtman is a complete joke, not to mention an arrogant prick. His “keys to the White House” are a fraud and I guess he thought his own personal bias was a “key to the White House”. He’s also an election denier, he claimed that the 2000 election was “stolen”. He was wrong, we were right. He’s a disgrace, he’s a fraud and he’s a loser just like that bitch Kamala.

Gallup polling (for instance) has often been accurate in predicting the outcome of presidential elections and the margin of victory for the winner. However, it certainly missed some close elections: 1948, 1976 and 2004, the popular vote in 2000, and the likely-voter numbers in 2012.

I am not suggesting any poll is a definitive finding. I just noted how successful Lichtman has been in the past, which given your measure of past performance as a guide to accuracy in the future, ought to be something of note.

She’s doing better than I think most people gave her credit for, but she cannot afford to be complacent. That’s partly why Hillary lost.
Besides, it’s still two months out. The world could be hit by a meteor or something.
