I dont know why people will continue to vote for stupidity, other than they are brainwashed. now the liberal news is perpetrating a new lie by saying its the republicans fault and that the dems have nearly stopped all border crossings in the past month or 2. its the Goebbels effect.

1) immigration control has been an issue for a long time. There was a bipartisan bill on the table that would deal with the issue more comprehensively than anything in a couple of generations. Trump told Republicans to kill it and they did. He has no plan to deal with it other than to blow hot air. Her doesn't want to solve it, he wants to keep it a problem so he can blame democrats.

2) neither party "offers" low gas prices. They have very little ability to affect the process on a global market. Are you proposing that we nationalize the petroleum industry like Venezuela?

That bill was not going to close the border, it was a grift to continue laundering money through Ukraine and Israel.
That bill would have made it almost impossible for Trump to actually close the border without any caveats.

Bullshit, the last few months that Trump was in office, I was paying $1.75 per gallon.

25 major cities defunded the police in 2021. All are run by Democrats.

Yes immigration has been a problem for a long time but that is not the question.
Why would a citzen pick the candidate that had the worse statistics at the border? And the numbers are not even close.

Trumps remain in Mexico was cheap and effective, it made Mexico pay their fair share by hosting migrants

The bipartisan bill.you speak allowed 5k migrants daily. It had very little policy to deter or stop the migration.

Governments can control gas prices by drilling more, opening up land for drilling.

They can also.offer tax breaks and other incentives to lower prices.

5,000 was the threshold for activating emergency provisions, and is way below what was happening. Biden did it by executive action and the numbers are way down. I don't doubt that republican led court challenges will invalidate the executive actions because it wasn't done by congress.

Drilling more - so it can go to China and other foreign counties? We are producing more oil now than under Trump, to the chagrin of environmentalists. If you think more drilling is the answer why would you want to go back to less drilling like under Trump.

The oil can be refined
Why do you think all.the oil America produces goes to China?

Pipeline is the safest way of transporting oil.
Trains and trucks burn a lot of exhaust.
The exhaust fumes alone goes down significantly when using a pipeline.

And it Democrata are producing so much oil why do they keep tapping into emergency oil reserves?

There have been articles for over a decade saying that the tar sand oil was destined for China.

Regarding tapping into reserves - oil is a global commodity. When foreign sources are cut back or there are disruptions in supply due to war, petroleum prices rise for every country. After the start of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, there were massive disruptions in the oil and gas supply in Europe and Asia driving up prices and triggering bad inflation. President Biden used one of the few tools he had at his disposal by releasing oil from the strategic reserves in order to help stabilize prices.

Trump killed the Russian oil pipeline and Biden allowed it.
Russia at war now has reasonable gas and commodity prices.
Russia is secured now with this pipeline.

Again Democrats do not like fossil fuels and want to get rid of it.

That mentality created the hiccup that sent prices up.
