Most states/counties assess property taxes every year, usually they're higher every year, even though the structure, the thing that makes the property useful, is worth less every year. If you disagree with the assessment, you submit an appeal, maybe some evidence about recent similar properties recently sold, etc.
The difference between that and this Federal tax only a matter of degree.
Republicans and even some Democrats will never pass that garbage.
Democrat platform, find new way to fool their lemming voters into giving away wealth and power.
Let’s raise taxes on those who built wealth, so we can give the money to those who built 30 trillion in debt.
Taxes should be lowered, and govt spending should be cut by 75%. Keep the money in the hands of those who generate wealth. Not incompetent Marxist Democrat career politicians with zero useful experience.

Taxing people on things, and people not being net-income tax-payers are 2 different concepts.
Most people are not net-income tax payers. They give the government a loan, and get it back in the form of a return. If you get a return, you didn't actually pay taxes...this not a hard concept, but IS a different concept to this post.
You can tax me on something tangible, but if I'm being taxed on something intangible that doesn't exist, we have a huge fucking problem. That problem being representation....we kinda fought a war over that.

I hope America is listening. Jello Joe is saying that taxes will be raised to pay for war, death and destruction. So, God forbid, he is reelected we have no one to blame but ourselves.
