shareGeorge Galloway hasn't been elected Prime Minister. He's just a Member of Parliament.
shareIs he well liked in the UK? I would imagine Sky News would crown this guy (the new) King.
shareNo, he's hated.
shareWait, what ?? How is this possible ?
shareQuite easily? He's been a maligned figure for decades.
shareBut he is anti Israel ? Surely that is a great thing. I need to read up on this guy.
shareUK is not pro-Hamas generally. Which Galloway is.
UK also isn't really anti-Israel
If he was elected based on anti Israel and pro Hamas was the election rigged ( like here in the US ) or do people secretly support him ?
Thanks for your input btw!
>If he was elected based on anti Israel and pro Hamas was the election rigged
This was a byelection (special election) prompted by the death of the sitting Labour MP. It is a Labour safe seat. He was elected for a single constituency (Rochdale) disproportionately populated by Muslims. The turnout was less than 40% and all the major party candidates were disastrous. Labour deselected their own candidate for anti-Israel comments after registrations were complete, meaning they could not select another candidate and suspended campaigning, meaning Galloway effectively had no local competition. The Conservative candidate also went on holiday, the Greens removed their candidate for anti-Islam comments and the Reform candidate was a literal nonce.
He is likely not going to win re-election for the general election at the end of the year when Labour select another candidate that they won't disown and the turnout is closer to 70% (UK general election turnout)
Value add, thank you !

Zionists are pulling the strings on both sides just like there are anti-Zionists from both sides.
