"Conservatives called out the Associated Press on Sunday for appearing to categorize Laken Riley’s murder as more about the “fears of solo female athletes” rather than illegal immigration and weak crime laws.

Riley, an Augusta University nursing student, was found dead Thursday after previously attending the University of Georgia before entering a nursing program at Augusta’s Athens campus, where she made the Dean’s List

Police have charged Jose Antonio Ibarra with malice murder, felony murder, aggravated battery, aggravated assault, false imprisonment, kidnapping, hindering a 911 call and concealing the death of another.

By Sunday, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) also confirmed that Ibarra entered the U.S. illegally in 2022 and had previously been arrested in New York City.

However, the AP published an article on the murder on Saturday without referencing Ibarra’s immigration or criminal record and instead focused on how Riley was murdered while jogging by herself"

That story is really just further testament to how out of touch our political class is with the common man:

Far more everyday Americans are mourning the fact Jose Antonio Ibarra will no longer be mowing their lawns, each and every Monday

I read the AP article and I recalled how they media went after Amy Cooper aka Central Park Karen. She was a female alone in an isolated area who was in an altercation with a much larger male. Words were exchanged and the larger male threatened the female then proceeded to entice her dog away from her. All talk from the media about the dangers solo females face from males in isolated area went out the window and somehow the much larger male who threatened her became the victim.

Ahh yes that was Fentanyl Floyd morning...I remember thinking that would be the outrage of the election year, but was ridiculously 1-upped later in the afternoon.

Heroes both. One threatened a woman alone in a park the other held a gun on a woman during a robbery/home invasion.

So if our kids were instead being raped and murdered by pasty-complexioned Anglos, and The Right was covering for them, this would be less offensive to your sensibilities

They would be arrested, and be prosecuted with the full-extent of the law. The right doesn't hold any power to "cover" for them.

Oh, and being Illegal has nothing to do with skin color/race. I didn't bring that up...
