Newsom’s first lie was about the border and the only offensive argument that he could use was Trump vs DeSantis.

I watched about the first half hour and gave up with Newsome's constant interrupting when Ron was laying out cold hard facts about the shape California is in. When he wasn't interrupting or blaming Republicans, he stood there with that cocky grin if he wasn't outright laughing.

That guy always seems like a shady used car salesman to me, and it was on full display. He had nothing but the typical Democrat talking points and a slick, arrogant way of presenting them completely ignoring facts. Desantis brought up cleaning up the streets in SF before Xi arrived and he just laughed. He's a POS that unfortunately is a fast talking salesman the brain-dead Left would love to see as POTUS.

DeSantis had a list of buzzwords he regurgitated throughout the entire debate. San Francisco, excrement, inflation, border, radical leftist agenda, indoctrination, Joe Biden, late-term abortion, teachers union, red meat etc. He reminded me a lot of Trump's rude behavior when Gavin would respond Ron would interject at every claim something like "lie" or "not true." He came off as a bully to me but that's nothing new and if anything his supporters love that about him. Proudly claiming "I beat the teacher's union" multiple times is nothing to brag about imo.

Gavin was ineffective pretty much throughout the whole thing. I expected better from him. He made some good points about women's healthcare freedom (especially when comparing CA to FL) but could barely get a word in most times. He has more class (aka "liberal elitism" to Republicans) than DeSantis which is maybe why he struggled to get in the mud & fight pig to pig. Ultimately, if this is the best Gavin can do maybe he shouldn't bother running in 2028. He kept repeating the phrase "that's a fact" which even if correct just sounded repetitive and weak.

You can be right about something and go around telling people you're right until you're blue in the face and get nowhere. I don't like it but in politics it's more important to be effective than correct. Ideally a politician is effective AND correct. A politician who is effective and wrong will win over one who is ineffective and right most times.

It was actually Newsom debating both DeSantis and Hannity, yet he still won easily.

Unwatchable. Lot of interruptions from each other. Newsom started the interruption then De Santis decided to do the same also. These types of debates suck. A podcast or one on one interview would be better.

I wouldn't seek it out normally but it popped up in my YT feed (David Pakman's channel) and I had to drive to & wait a while for someone at the airport. So I listened to it only. If I was watching I probably would have shut it off after 10 mins bc it was a mess.

Both suck. But DeSantis sucks more.

You want people here to voluntarily add "hannity" to their search history?

Did they cover the way that san franciso was suddenly able to clear the streets of the homeless, for a big international con, without any additional funds, just by asking some people to actually do their jobs?

(thus demonstrating that they have always had the ability to do this, and just choose to not)
