It's wrong in just about every way possible. If lower interest rates can be negotiated I'm ok with that but to take money from me to pay for a College Degree I didn't acquire that is useless to it's owner is really infuriating. The principal must be paid back by the borrower not the public. He's doing what Democrats have been doing for generations.. buying votes with taxpayer money. As to where he's getting the money, who knows when, where or how? Maybe the plan is to say you're going to do it and then not go through with it. Democrats do that all the time too.
It's a buyout for youth votes and a slap in the face to people that remortgaged their house to pay for college for their kid.
