Women intellectuals on the "left"

Can anyone name one? There are women intellectuals on the "right," I just can't think any on the "left" off the top of my head.

reply

"I just can't think any"

Unless you count those that have "walked away", neither can I.

reply

Yes, interesting.

reply

Agreeing with your views doesn't make them intellectuals.

I have a lot of respect for Tracie Harris. I don't even know her political views, but I consider her an intellectual. There's literally no one else I can point to.

reply

"Agreeing with your views doesn't make them intellectuals."

Who ever said that? Nobody on this page other than you.

reply

You haven't named any female intellectuals. I imagine being "anti-woke" is enough to clear your bar.

reply

Camille Paglia, for one. A feminist, so I don't think she qualifies as "woke," whatever that means.

reply

Hmm, I'll have to look into her, I've never heard that name before.

reply

Ahhh, Ruth Bader Ginsburg maybe? She was pretty smart.

reply

Being "pretty smart" doesn't make one an intellectual. Let alone, most politicians simply take instructions from higher-ups how to deceive the masses, which is anti-intellectual.

reply

I think RBG was an intellectual, but her leftist ideology got in the way.

Leftism blinds even some of the most intelligent minds.

reply

There aren't any of the left.

reply

Nor the right. Let's be honest, women aren't known for being intellectuals. They simply parrot what they are told, it's basic trivia.

reply

How about you first name some of the women on the right you consider intellectual, because based on most of your other posts on this message board, what you consider "intellectual" has never ACTUALLY been the case.

If you were capable of abstract thought, which you clearly are not (which means you are not an intellectual and are therefore in no position to even participate in a discussion on the matter), you would have noticed I put both right and left in scare-quotes, because neither means anything today. The women intellectuals considered "right wing" are not really right wing, they just don't parrot the corporate agenda the way you do. So, in summation, I never actually said there were intellectual women on the right, therefore, your comment is entirely invalid.

QED

I know robots like you can't resist having "the last word," so I'll grant it to you and then I'll considered this exchange concluded.

reply

Your both-sides, false equivalency is the type that only fools people such as yourself into believing you're ACTUALLY thinking abstractly.

[deleted]

there was Tulsi Gabbard.

reply

To whom the "intellectual" women on the left like Hillary Clinton referred to--without a shred of evidence to support it--as a "Russian asset." Precisely the kind of anti-intellectualism one would expect from the modern left.

reply

Just a few who the left would consider “intellectual” heavy hitters.

Whoopi Goldberg - actress
Rachel Maddow - news commentator
Jane Fonda - actress
Hillary Clinton - wife

reply

AOC - stupid bimbo

reply

She's actually very intelligent, which makes you fearful and to reflexively lash out at her. Your actual stupid bimbos these days would be Boebert and MJT from Georgia. Remember them yelling during the State of the Union speech? Gauche, and dumb--perfect Republicans!

reply

Maybe Rachel Maddow like 20 years ago, before she completely sold out.

reply

I think Jane Fonda might actually be an intellectual.
