A Reminder that Hollywood dared to tell the truth once

At the time I thought some course-correction was possible. Instead, things have worsened and veered so far off in Left field that many aspects of it have become what they once opposed. Instead of liberally-encouraged equality and color-blindness, we now have segregation in the name "equity" and a movement of judging people by the color of their skin instead of the content of their character. Shameful.

reply

You can blame the Chinese, Blackrock, and the WEF for that one.

reply

Warren Beatty's a hero now? Gotcha. Next you'll be worshipping Jane Fonda and Ted Turner.

reply

Even a blind hog finds an acorn every now and then.

A) Those weren't Beatty's words, he just delivered them. B) We don't worship people. False Gods and idols are your thing.

reply

So you're down with Beatty's ultimate conclusion in the movie? [oh pardon me, I mean the character being played by Beatty with the screenwriter's words] Everyone's gotta keep fucking each other until everyone's the same color?

False Gods and Idols... take a second Pamprin...

reply

Huh? Warren Beatty's an actor acting out lines written by a screenwriter. A screenwriter who dared to dabble in truth.

Tell me you tend to misconstrue and extrapolate imaginary nonsense from a source with an entirely different meaning without explicitly saying you tend to misconstrue and extrapolate imaginary nonsense from a source with an entirely different meaning.

Although I have always been rather partial to Mr. Beatty.
