Trump would need all jury members in FLORIDA to find him guilty

And that won't happen. Florida is TRUMP COUNTRY.

Obviously they knew this but are hoping that by prosecuting him it will derail his presidential bid and allow a dementia patient to retake the whitehouse.

reply

Of course they knew, they don’t care because as you said, it is about derailing him, it is nothing but more election interference and they will continue to do so. These people are literally terrified of Trump.

TDS should be officially added to the DSM

reply

I wouldn't be surprised. A defendant has a better chance of being seen as trustworthy or even declared innocent when they know they are guilty based on the defendant's social status or background. That's why wealthy and popular people usually get away with stuff such as abuse, and sometimes even get a free pass. Trump definitely has an advantage cause Florida is his popular space.

reply

That's why it should be televised live so the world knows all the details...,like the OJ trial did

reply

And that trial was nullified and no one really gave a shit.

reply

That was practically the crime of the century.

How old are you?

reply

Please tell me what anyone did to stop the nullification of the oj trial? Not a fucking thing. Peasants bitching about it doesn't count.

reply

The lesson was learned there

reply

Trumps' lawyers should use the Chewbacca Defense.

reply

What is that? It's in a wookie's nature to rip off your arm if you act a c*nt?

reply

Its from South Park. Its an old episode back when SP was funny.

reply

Simpson trial nullified? I don't think you know what you're talking about. The jury reached a not guilty verdict on all counts. You can easily Google it, nitwit.

reply

While they go to great lengths to explain why the jury may have acquitted Simpson, they both fail to mention the legitimate power of juries to serve as a check on how the law is being enforced and the historically important roles juries play in democratic life. They avoided mentioning the controversial power of jury nullification.

Jury nullification refers to the power juries have to find a defendant not guilty despite adequate evidence, thereby “nullifying” the power of the law in that particular instance.

reply

Yeah, they're talking about jury nullification as opposed to what the Simpson jury did, find for the defendent "not guilty" based on the evidence. Now go read a law book and stop embarrassing yourself.

reply

lmao

Essentially, with jury nullification, the jury returns a “not guilty” verdict even if jurors believe beyond a reasonable doubt that the defendant broke the law. This can occur because a not guilty verdict cannot be overturned and jurors are protected regardless of their verdicts.

Jury nullification occurs when jurors, based on their own sense of justice, refuse to follow the law and acquit a defendant even when the evidence presented seems to point to an incontrovertible verdict of guilty.

reply

You keep talking about some un-named hypothetical jury. Read what the jurors in THE SIMPSON CASE themselves said. There is a ton of stuff online about them explaining why THE EVIDENCE led them to believe him not guilty. End of discussion.

reply

I did read it, and as mentioned by Moviefan3765, the Simpsons trial was "nullified".

reply

Well that's just plain bullheaded stupidity. Have a nice life, I think you're going to nerd some lucky breaks!

reply

lol, I do agree that it is bullheaded stupidity by you. YOU opened that "can" because you were just talking out of your ass.

Detail one a box we aren't going to show you the contents of, detail two also a box we aren't going to show you the contents of. Detail 3 a white box, which we will not be showing you the contents of. Detail 4 a box which has contents but we wont be showing them to you. Detail 5 a box we wont be showing you the contents of. Detail 6 is a very exotic looking box with green lettering and a stripe down the side of it, the contents we will not be showing you but notice how the stripe down the side is of a different shade than the green lettering. Detail 7 a box we aren't going to show you the contents of.

reply

We KNOW the contents in the boxes are classified, and its important the MAGA morons know that also.

They need to see it's not a "witch hunt" , but serious stuff that that lying conman held onto!

reply

Yes, showing them a bunch of boxes sitting on a table and telling them there are facts inside but no one is allowed to see them is a great way to prove it's not a witch hunt.

reply

The defense team, judge, jury and prosecutors will verify the docs you idiot!

reply

Federal prosecutors have a 97% conviction rate. They don't indict unless they are sure to convict.

reply

How many of those involved ex Presidents of the United States though?

reply

The Southern District of FL is not really tRump country. That's where the trial will take place.

reply

I've been saying for years that I doubt he could be convicted because you just need one MAGA zombie on the jury to hang. But his crimes need to be laid out in a court of law where we can see his legal team flailing their arms while Trump contradicts his defense with his public statements.

People need to see what a stupid, buffonish criminal he is

That being said, they did get a Southern Florida Grand Jury to charge him.

0.) Trump Got Arrested Because Joe Biden Took a $5 million Bribe from a Ukrainian Oligarch.
1.) Trump is already protected by the PRA.
2.) They have past and/or current presidents to reference during their legal defense such as the Clinton(s)/Biden/ex-VP-Pence.
3.) You have to prove “intent” without any reasonable doubt which is impossible to prove considering there was none to begin with.
4.) The trial will be held in the same district where there is a long history of acquittals.
5.) The same district that also has a history of overturning convictions.

reply

They have witnesses to testify that Trump planned his actions, proving intent. And they have Trump's public statements indicating the same.

He moved and his documents after he recieved subpoenas for them. As his biggest legal apologist, Bill Barr said, he's toast.

reply

lol, you must be referring to his aides, advisers, lawyers, and secret service detail. None of them can prove intent; neither does his statement, nice try.

Barr is one of the worst RINOs and Trump haters there is.

reply

How do you think intent is proven on court? Testimony from witnesses.

But in this case we have Trump, himself, saying he intended to take the documents because they are his.

reply

#1.) Trump is already protected by the PRA.

He is not been charged with taking them; he is been charged with retaining national defense information under a different law known as "The Espionage Act" which requires intent, and there is none.

reply

How do you think the PRA protects him?

reply

He says, the papers are his, everyday and he wants them back.

reply

Trump won by 51-48%, a slim margin that could be overcome with the right Democrat, especially if tRump is what the Publicans are offering again!
