That very well could be for anyone solely watching certain FOX news shows (we know which ones), but they aren't the ones erroneously repeating that there's some discrepancy on a daily basis, whether in countless articles about the message leaks or on message boards like this. It's like an inkblot test that reveals the mindset of the subject, whether they're actually observing reality or just recycling the same falsehood over and over. And it's easier to tackle small things like this first over the big worldview-altering subjects. People really need to start questioning everything they're told.
