Good point ... so ironically if Democrats want to ensure a massive victory they should let Trump run again. The Republicans are dysfunctionally locked into Trump. All Republican candidates will be as bad, but we already know about Trump. If Trump bows out there will be another pause while we realize again that the Republicans are just the same tax cuts, kill social programs, create divisions, steal everything that is not nailed down party they have always been.

The committee is an obvious partisan effort intended ONLY to keep Trump from running for office again. It would but it's just a recommendation and the Rethugs will not follow it for fear of alienating all their Dump-loving deplorables. They will endure more big losses in 24 with him as their leader but after that he will probably be a spent force--too old, too much of a loser, loss of enthusiasm among even the deps. who will by then be tired of him and tired of losing.
