He's an Independent, but I believe he'll run as a Republican especially if Trump runs. When he ran for governor, it was as a Libertarian which is really a Republican.

Stern is intelligent, aggressive, outspoken and knows how to handle the media. Even if he isn't the final nominee, he can do plenty to help with a clear message and refocus direction.

As for the Electoral College, the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact is the best option. Democrats are dragging their feet with this. Stern could make it a priority.

Biden has made it clear he's against adding justices to the court and it wouldn't even remove any that are already on it, as Stern wants. And I don't see getting a majority in both houses as realistic. Even with Sinema and Manchin in favor, it would be an endless uphill battle.
And the abolishing the Electoral College would take a Amendment, also not realistic. Stern is full of shit, making promises he could never keep. I guess it doesn't matter though because he's not going to run. He's a shock jock with far too many skeletons in his closet to run as POTUS. It's almost as stupid an idea as The Rock running.
The National Popular Vote Interstate Compact isn't an amendment and is doable. We're 75% there. A few more states need to sign on.

Anyone can run for president. Stern doesn't have to win. He can bring certain issues to the forefront and create support for his agenda. He can also hurt Trump or other candidates during the campaign. Stern, like Trump, understands media and how to use it to his advantage.

If you're just trying to open dialogue into these issues, fair enough, but Stern is without a doubt full of shit if he thinks he can accomplish these things because they're incredibly far fetched. Him running would be a clown show and we don't need anymore clown shows. We need serious candidates for 2024, preferably a non-celebrity who isn't in their 70's. Just my 2 cents...
Stern said he will run only if Trump does. It's clear that Stern's goal is to ensure only serious - and sane - candidates run for 2024.
BTW, anyone can run for president including you if you're American and over 35. Usually, there are over 100 candidates, but they don't get any publicity. I remember Gary Coleman running one year.
