Experts: Anti-LGBTQ rhetoric could galvanize extremists

As hate speech targeting LGBTQ people increases among some far-right influencers and others online, experts are warning that extremist groups may see the rhetoric as a call to action.

Such may have been the case when 31 members of the neo-Nazi group Patriot Front were arrested in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, on Saturday and charged with conspiracy to riot at a Pride event, said Sophie Bjork-James, an assistant professor in anthropology at Vanderbilt University who researches the white nationalist movement, racism and hate crimes in the U.S. The arrests came as a toxic brew of anti-LGBTQ rhetoric has been on the rise in Idaho and elsewhere.

Saying the truth about undeniable risk factors of homosexuality and transsexualism is now "hate speech". We are now a society which celebrates and promotes lifestyles that cause paedophilia, STDs, drugs use, depressions, suicides, mental illnesses etc. And anyone that expresses reservation is silenced and demonized.

Don’t forget the celebration of being FAT! 37% of Americans are OBESE! There’s a whole lotta diabetes, heart attacks, etc. just around the corner! Healthcare costs are going to skyrocket. The human body wasn’t meant to carry all that blubber. Most of the obese are lard asses who don’t push themselves away from the table and fast foods. Being FAT is the new disability for which everyone will pay. Another case of those not willing to take responsibility. Top the look with clothes which appears they were poured into! If they have a mirror it must give a false reflection or they just don’t care how they look!

About 15 years ago I gave example of people celebrating obesity in near future as a slippery slope argument in a homosexuality debate. They told me will never happen.

The celebration of obesity was cemented when a heifer was on the front cover of Sports Illustrated! She looked like a beached whale with a beautiful face! She now has her own clothing line.
