A new Cold War, or the start of World War III?

Tanks rolled into Ukraine unabated. Families packed into darkened subway stations to take shelter from bombs. Others filled suitcases and fled along clogged roadways out of cities.

The images emerging from Ukraine on Thursday evoke memories of 20th-century conflicts in Europe that once seemed unimaginable in 2022, leaving many to wonder: Is this a new Cold War? Or the beginning of World War III?

I don't see WWIII happening but a new Cold War with Russia is definitely a possibility.

Definitely Cold War. I can't see the West attacking Russia directly it would draw China into it. I can't see Russia doing very well out of this and Europe will become more independent by sourcing their own energy needs instead of being at Russia's mercy.

Biden will be seen as a weaker than he was previously perceived. Dems won't do well next US election.
