FDA still dragging its feet on releasing Pfizer trial data

FDA now wants until May 2022 to release additional Pfizer covid vaccine trial data and a judge already ordered them to start releasing the documents in March 2022. Aaron Siri is one of the lead lawyers for the plaintiffs and he has a substack with updates on the case. I think the public should know how rigorous the FDA review was so the promoters of the vaccine can receive additional praise or be thrown in jail. I'm just worried that they will release pages full of redactions.

If they are really safe and effective, this wouldn't be necessary.

The scientific method in action. This is the part where the peer reviewers are paid by the same company and the data is kept from anyone who is not paid by that company. It truly is a marvel to witness the most reliable process the human race has ever developed.

I wonder if the whole trial was approved by Pfizer through some sort of self-regulation. I immediately thought of the faulty Boeing 737 Max plane approval process that was conducted by Boeing alone. An independent testing body needs to test self-driving cars before they become widespread.
