Should Women Be Allowed To Wear Pants?

I like to wear a kilt so as to celebrate my cultural heritage. However, my wife likes to wear pants, especially dress pants that look like men's slacks

I don't really care what she wears, but the problem is that whenever we have company over and I'm wearing my kilt they always crack the same jokes of "Oh, so you let your wife wear the pants in the relationship? Hahaha"

This is annoying, but my problem could be easily fixed if there was legislation preventing women from wearing pants

Thoughts?

*Edit: I cannot just ask her to not wear pants because she'd get mad and start an argument calling me sexist

For casual wear, by all means, women are free to wear whatever they want.

However, if I was a fashion adviser, I suggest for professional wear that women wear a dress. It makes for a more a striking image. Men should wear jackets and ties. And women should wear dresses.

If women let their standards slide, they will get lazy and look too casual in slacks. We have no further to look than Hillary Clinton in her pantsuits. If a man wore a pantsuit professionally we'd laugh at him.
