I can't believe the CDC now that they are telling people how to speak

The CDC has a section on their page on inclusive language. According to them, it's no longer acceptable to call someone an alcoholic or an inmate. I grew up in the eighties so one had to have a thick skin to survive middle school.

I do think it's appropriate to be politically correct in public but political correctness is now out of control. I also can't trust what they say now since they are supposed to deliver uncomfortable facts and statistics on diseases that kill the population.

I grew up around the same time you did. 80s and 90s we would make fun of these politically correct assholes. This country is going to shit faster everyday

They should focus on controlling diseases, like their name implies.

Maybe then they wouldn't be changing their recommendations about Covid every few months, causing people to lose trust in anything they say.

Just like Fauci, the retards who run the CDC have gained too much power because of “The Rona”. They put out stuff like this to try and remain relevant when no one is listening to them anymore. Say whatever the fuck you want and never apologize. Facts are always more important than the feelings of the few who pretend to be offended.
