They told you Bush allowed 9/11. They told you he was talking about attacking Afghanistan at the G8 Summit in July of 2001. - Mike Ruppert. They told you the military was mobilizing for war in the gulf before 9/11 - Francis Boyle International law professor. They told you they wanted pipelines through Afghanistan and Iran - John J Maresca-Neocon

But you didn't FUCKING LISTEN! You just had to wave your fucking flags like the stupid fucking racist fascists that you are! You just had to gullibly believe that 19 Muslims that didn't exist on the flight rosters just somehow magically stood down NORAD with boxcutters! You just had to willingly let our rights, freedoms, privacy and constitution go down the tube with your goddamn Patriot Act and NOW you pieces of shit have the NERVE to blame liberals for sucking up to muslims?! You fucking idiots! There was no sucking up. The USA destabilized most of the entire middle east and you thought terrorism was a problem BEFORE? You stupid shit for brains and your children and your grandchildren are going to be hunted down for the next two centuries for what you did.

Well, a handful of right wingers also opposed invading Iraq (I remember Pat Buchanan and Charley Reese.) How much was based on common sense and how much was based on Anti-Israel is debatable.

The overwhelming number of right-wingers supported going to war with Iraq. They called nonsupporters unAmerican. French fries were called freedom fries when France refused a U.S. flyover and Dixie Chicks records were boycotted. A lot of BS on right-wing media to support a war which was basically to steal their oil. It helped make Al-Qaeda more popular because bin Laden had warned against the U.S. desire to invade for oil. Also lies about Hussein's involvement with 9/11 were spread by the GOP and right-wing media. He was a tyrant, but secular. Muslim fundamentalists didn't like him.

I don't remember any controversy surrounding the Afghanistan war from either side.

There were a lot of voices against going into Afghanistan at the time, because, you know, history, but someone had to get their ass kicked, and "our eternal friends" the Saudis weren't part of the conversation.

Americans wanted revenge and to prevent another terrorist attack from Al-Qaeda. You may be right, but I don't remember hearing any opposition against the Afghanistan invasion at the time. Plenty of the well-connected made millions by supporting war in the region especially in Iraq so support by right-wing media too.

Saudis in the U.S. were flown out by our government to protect them.

Americans never learn from history. Forever clueless. Putin was right when he criticized the U.S.'s foreign policy. We repeatedly betray our allies and support the wrong rulers.

It's sad that all that money, time and energy we spent training Afghan soldiers was for nothing.

But the truth is their well-being doesn't really change under Taliban rule.

It's the women who suffer. To stop it, there needs to be men willing to fight for women's rights.

Afghanistan is probably 50 years away from that.

Not because "it would end in disaster" or whatever.

Liberal opposition to any invasions was rooted in your pathetic juvenile hatred for America, not concern for America's well-being or the success of any military operations.

Hence why they invaded. Nobody listens to a teenage girl who's weak at the knees for brown camel-raping men with AK-47s in their hands - which is what you were, and are.

Liberals went along with George Bush.
They did not go along kicking and screaming.
They went along with their FREE WILL intact.

The DNC and all who were in power back then are just as much a war criminal as George Bush II and The Penguin VP.

Stop trying to lay in all on one group. They are both guilty and both deserve to be punished by international law. Of course it will never happen because there is no such thing and there is no court for American law makers who are guilty of war crimes.

Go protect some more war criminals.
