Dems Admit THEY'RE SCREWED In 2022 Midterms

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vE-SXSaIy8A

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT

Die-hard Leftists (i.e. most Libs these days) need to wake up and realize that being stuck on Trump and incessantly spouting the crazy stuff like what’s reflected on boards like this one is why Dems may lose at midterms (and why things trended Red in 2020, even though Trump himself lost). Or even if not with midterms as some predict/fear, more important is the long-term impact of the Left's inevitable self-destruction. I predict this will manifest fully in a few years. Their heads are stuck so far up their collectives arses, they’re blind to the massive cliff looming before them as they run headlong into absurdity, following a corrupt media that invents fictional narratives much more frequently than commenting on actual events (e.g. Russia!, Racism! Dictator!. He said to drink bleach! Fine people on both sides!)

Drop the mask mandates that don't work, and that in fact lure people into situations of crowded close proximity that actually spur the spread of COVID. Purge the constant obsession with Trump, Trump and more Trump, oh yeah and also Trump. Halt the white privilege nonsense that's empirically provable as false. For crissakes end the RUSSIA RUSSIA RUSSIA 2016 election idiocy. Abandon the racist Critical Race Theory vileness that assumes non-whites are incompetent and incapable. Reverse the defund the police efforts that have helped produce the largest spike in crime in two decades. Rethink calling everyone a racist when they’re clearly not, diminishing the weight of the term. Resist the urge to cancel everyone you disagree with, suppressing their voice and dubbing their view disinformation. Stop trying to bus undocumented COVID-infected people all around the country and hiding them (ineffectively) in bunkers and hotels. Stop trying to convince everyone that gender is a choice (barring surgical/chemical alteration). Stop the "pronouns" malarky.

STOP!!!

Or better yet, don't heed my advice, and continue to march right over the cliff of your own making.

Trump was his own worst enemy. But infected Liberal Progressives are much worse. You saw what happened to Trump. Now get ready for that to happen to you tenfold. You're ensuring the demise of the Democrats. And while this all actually started materializing two decades ago, Trump acted as a catalyst to goad you into escalating it into pure self-destructive insanity (yay Trump!). For Progressives, you lot sure are stuck in the past, and are utterly incapable of letting go and moving on, no different than Conservatives stuck on tradition.

What's more, you're completely blind to the fact that the largest immigrant (undocumented or otherwise) grouping in the U.S., that of Hispanics, shares values much more in common with Conservatives than Liberals, even as classically defined, but even more so with the Left now pushing the boundaries of sanity into unadulterated radicalism. And they've finally had enough of that ideology leaning more and more Left. I suspect that what Democrats used to think was a growing number of sure-thing supporters will continue to Red-shift.

Even with the handful of negatives that come from the Far Right, the Left (which is almost entirely "Far" now) have become so counterproductive culturally that for the average citizen it overshadows any of the inflammatory downsides Trump threw into the ring, any corruption engrained within the GOP establishment, all mentally restrictive, religious-inspired right-leaning philosophy, etc. And yet very few on the Left realize it (except for the few astute individuals that somehow remain hanging onto sanity amid an ocean of absurdity). The Left and the Dems are headed toward eventual decimation. And it's their own damn fault due to their complete lack of self-awareness.

Yes, there’s a cyclical pattern and midterms often swing the other way, but there’s more going on with this than usual that there were signs of not only during the 2020 presidential election, but even earlier on. It was truly sealed with the rapid-fire unprecedented deluge of over-the-top executive orders Biden signed the day after he was sworn in. Kowtowing to extreme Leftist radicalization is not a recipe for success, and there’s hints that the fallout may be longer term than the usual swing of the political pendulum. There may be some permanency.

The Left has to change their approach, their messaging, and in many ways the very fundamentals of the current iteration of their ideology. If they don't, they have a very rough future ahead. The most important life lesson is that of letting go and moving on.

I have spoken, and you’re welcome.

The right wing disinformation machine has been all too effective, I'm afraid. They've managed to shift the focus to boogeymen like critical race theory or cancel culture and non stories like Hunter Biden's laptop instead of things that really matter, like abolishing the systemic racism that has plagued the US since its beginnings and creating an equitable society

reply

Which law would you like changed to fix “systematic racism”. Which laws that enabled “systematic racism” did Joe Biden ignore for the last 50 years he was in government?

reply

Libtards think information they don't like is "misinformation". And CRT teaches children to hate their country, hate the cops and to judge people by their skin color, it's UnAmerican, it's racist itself and its wrong. The Hunter Biden laptop proves that Joe and Hunter are guilty of treason and colluded with foreign powers, be honest if their last name were Trump you would be calling for their imprisonment. Why do you think we have "systemic racism" in this country? Please point to the law that we have today that is "systemically racist". I'm sure you won't however, I'm sure you'll say that because of past racism black people today are at a disadvantage which is complete and utter BS, your premise will be that black people are born into a bad situation because of things they can't control, well I was born into an abusive household and I couldn't control that so therefore I'm a victim as well. Also if the left gave a good damn about minorities they wouldn't try to take away their police protection from thugs and rioters.

reply

I'm just curious why you didn't reply to Gd150 and his valid point?

reply

good point, but they have found a successful way to cheat. mail in ballots will be problem again next year too.

reply

Thats too funny.
You're saying that those dirty commie hippies not only cheated once , but twice (when they do it again next year)
First time so successfully that no republican can find a shred of evidence,
and the second time you're going to be fooled again even though you've got time to prepare?

reply

they found ballots scanned multiple times, but no one cares anymore and dems dont want to investigate like they did with the Mueller Report.

reply

bullshit.
who is "they"?
Its not up to if the Dems *want* to investigate.
If a crime has been committed , and this would be a capital crime of the highest order , then report it to the police , go to court or whatever.
Problem is there is zero evidence (becasue it didnt happen) and you'd be laughed out of court like those idiots in that other thread

reply

why did the dems investigate the 2016 election? the dems told everyone that Trump cheated and colluded with Russia to steal the election. nancy guaranteed us that Trump was guilty and he would be removed...

2 years later, they found nothing.

the dems have nothing to lose if they are right. it would vindicate dementia Joe, but they dont want to investigate cause they know they will be found guilty of voter fraud.

you cant complain of voter fraud and chicanery and then say it was the most fair honest election after you steal it...

reply

good deflection.
if the Dems investigated Trump why is their job to investigate Biden?
Surely the Reps should do it? its their turn.

reply

dems control the house, cant start an investigation in the senate, this is simple 8th grade civics...

reply

did they control the house when Trump was elected?

reply

Did you know that in 2007 Joe Biden was actually campaigning on the idea that digital voting machines were highly corruptible and easily manipulated, and it was his goal to ban their use? In that time, there haven't been any significant changes to the use or oversight of those very same voting machines, yet the Democrats act like anyone who'd question digital voting machines is an idiot.

reply

yeah I'm not saying votng macines are infallible , or a good idea.
Just that theres no evidence of any foul play

reply

Without a proper investigation, which the Democrats have tried to stop every step of the way, how could we gain any evidence? I'm not saying there was anything done wrong, but they have hammered the idea of us accepting results and not questioning the machines, yet until this election they had very major concerns of their own. The blatant hypocrisy regarding this is only being ignored by them because the results were in their favor.

reply

Just in case you want to hear it for yourself.

reply

They were screwed in 2020.

Never give up when you have all of the power.

reply

That's how it typically goes. The party that wins the election loses in the midterms.

reply

Very true, but unless some course-correction is implemented, this may be longer-term than the usual cyclical back-and-forth shifting. A lot depends on just how extreme the Right goes if they find themselves in full control (if they go full tilt, the Dems have a better chance of bouncing back). It's important to maintain an adversarial dynamic, but the widespread cultural extremism that's become so prominent on the Left over the past few years not only got Trump elected (conjoined with establishment self-interest, which was just as bad or worse on the Right, and just as much of a driver), and that may now be threatening to draw out more extremism from the Right, has become so unsustainable that it could potentially cause a collapse that could weaken the Democrat party for longer than just the next cycle (not to mention, Republicans have already morphed into something quite different than they were in an attempt to keep up). Time will tell if my concern has merit, but I see out there in the ether, and personally know, a lot of people who are fed up, not only moderates (and of course those on the Right are a given), but even some that have traditionally been positioned squarely on the Left. Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe things will even out, but it'll require a pretty major cultural shift back toward the middle to get there.

It's not left-wing extremism that created Trump. It was people's distrust of politicians and the corporate media combined with the right's already-existing extremist belief that Obama was anti-American. Trump tugged on all those strings.

Wokeness also played a part, but again, not very left wing, and certainly not extremist. It was the identity politics that exists in both parties, but gets labeled left-wing extremism to pass the blame onto someone else. Bernie was the left-wing "extremist." Hillary was the centrist, but it was Hillary's supporters that helped Trump get elected by saying she should win because she's a woman. Those same supporters called Bernie supporters misogynistic Bernie Bros.

Today's "extremism" of the left is socialized healthcare, something Trump and Pelosi agreed with in the 90s. After 9/11 we've been pushed more to the right, and those once center-left ideas are now far left.

reply

It's just weird how this almost always happens. It's like once they get into office they immediately do shit that pisses just enough people off to quickly change the seating block to the other side. I remember when Dems had a +17 or so advantage over the Repubs when Obama was in office. After the Trump re-election, they're only up +5-7, a huge shift. That and the Senate seat is only off by +1 and evenly matched due to George with Kamala being the tie breaker.

Remember, Trump only lost by a mere:
Arizona: 10,457
Georgia: 14,028
Wisconsin: 20,565
Total: 45,050

Personally, I don't think it's about pissing off the voters. I think it's human nature's desire for something different when no real change is seen. When we get bored, we like to mix it up.
Remember, Trump only lost by a mere:
While true, the same thing happened to Hillary in Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania. But in 2020 Trump lost Pennsylvania by 80,555 and Michigan by 154,188. Wisconsin should not have been that close, but I feel Kenosha played a part. As Kenosha becomes more in the past, Wisconsin could potentially turn more blue.

Also, I suspect that if it's not Trump in 2024, dems will win Florida again. There's a connection Florida has with Trumpism that it doesn't quite have with the rest of the GOP.

reply

For the love of god I hope so…this has been a complete shit show of illogical banning, censorship, fascism, and abuse of power. It’s like these people actually want to flush the country down the toilet.

reply

They want power at any cost, even if that cost is individual freedom.

reply

If you don't like it you are more than welcome to leave the country. Your words hypocrite!

reply

Hey, it’s you. Your feelings still hurt from last night? Gonna follow my posts around for a while? Gonna do a little moviechat stalking? 🤣

I simply try to live and enjoy my life. People like you are trying to make that much more difficult. You want to make everyone else as miserable as you are. I am thankful for the country I live in (you’re not) and I vote to try and make a difference. I’m not trying to dictate how everyone else lives their life (you are)…that’s the huge difference between you and I. You’re trying to steal people’s hard earned money, ban everything you disagree with, and force medical procedures on people (I AM vaccinated, and that’s MY choice, NOT yours).

Besides, if it goes the way it’s supposed to, these brain dead progressives will be the minority in a little over a year…mainly because they’re fascist lunatics and people are getting sick of them.

And once again, any progressive calling anyone else a hypocrite is one of the funniest things I’ll ever see.

reply

Your generalizations are dismissed. Don't try to improve the country make sure you keep boot licking. Notice how you had no retort to my points. You stole my hard earned money yourself bud.

reply

Your generalizations are dismissed.

As are yours. Take care.

reply

You as well bootlicker.

reply

It's mindboggling to me that Dems/Lefties aren't learning, and are in fact just digging the hole deeper.

If only the Dems/Left had listened and wizened up instead of pushing further and further into lunacy until even the sleepers had had enough and pushed back. Could now perhaps be the turning point? Will the Left course-correct and steer back into the realm of centric logic and reason, away from corrupt corporations, media and foreign entities? Nah. I suspect not. But I hope I'm wrong.

Because a viable counterbalance is imperative.

It's now the Repub's to screw up. Will they blow it also? Even if not immediately, at some point in the future... probably. So to both sides of the aisle: learn to work together for Christ's sakes! Stop self-sabotaging by injecting nonsense into big bills that derails otherwise good ideas. Stop manufacturing stories and twisting each other's words into out of context absurdities. Reject lobbying and special interests. Stop benefitting from your power. Learn to fucking SERVE! You are NOT a ruling class. You're our servants. Start acting like it.

Finally, to "we the people", stop listening and buying into the words of those in power. Instead, try your best to...
