500,000 Americans died, most because liberals were protesting in the streets spreading the virus they claimed they were scared of. Liberals were putting sick people in nursing homes, infecting as many people as possible. Liberals refused to quarantine New York, claiming it was a federal declaration of war. A similar Ebola outbreak occurred under Obama's presidency in 2014 and Obama nipped it in the bud. Put up testing stations at every airport and sent a task force to the source of the Ebola to counteract it. They created a playbook of rules on how to fight a pandemic and Trump shelved the playbook. The US sent more than 3,500 personnel from multiple agencies to fight the epidemic, mobilizing staff from the Department of Defense, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Public Health Service, the US Agency for International Development and the National Institutes of Health.
The medical experts provided direct care to patients and performed basic public health services like contact tracing to help stop the spread of the disease. The experts trained more than 1,500 local healthcare workers.
The US military also built 11 Ebola treatment units in the region and oversaw the creation of five others. These ETU’s cared for patients, isolated Ebola patients from others, and tested people for the disease. The Department of Defense brought seven mobile labs to the region speeding up testing.
In the US, the Obama administration set up Ebola screening at airports, provided national training for health care workers and created an infrastructure of 51 Ebola treatment centers in 16 states that continue to manage emerging infectious diseases. The unit at the University of Nebraska Medical Center is currently being used to care for novel coronavirus patients.
The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease initiated work on an Ebola vaccine and that research continues.

He drafted the Biological Weapons Anti-Terrorism Act of 1989, that was approved unanimously by both Houses of the U.S. Congress and signed into law by President George H.W. Bush.

He says the idea that the virus came from a wet market is ridiculous. It was created as a bioweapon, weaponized by US researches taking other viruses and making them airborne and smuggled into China to be released from the Wuhan Lap by agents in the Trump administration to bring China to its knees. If you recall and I have shown Trump first claimed it was a hoax. He believed if more Americans are dead or sick there would be less people to vote for Biden.

What Trump has done is unprecedented and no one in their right minds would want to be associated with a twice impeached narcissistic liar who tried to overthrow the government.

I would go so far as to claim that knowing he was going to lose, Trump drove his supporters to have as little faith in the electoral system as possible. Knowing democrats would vote from the safety of their own homes, Trump convinced Republicans that seeing the early wave of red, before absentee ballots came in, meant something fishy was going on. Trump probably thought his supporters would form an army and let him lead an insurrection to takeover the government and install himself as dictator.

Regardless of all this, Republicans still support him and honestly believe he will win in 2024, when if anything Trump is toxic to the party and is the one who will end up destroying it.
