Trump has threatened to fire FBI Director Christopher Wray, unless Wray announces a phony investigation into Biden

Whoops! Trump is doing it again!

Last February, Republican Senator Sue Collins told CBS News she didn't vote to impeach Trump -despite the mountains of evidence of guilt — because she believed 'Trump had learned his lesson'. She equated a 73-year-old man caught abusing his powers of office to blackmail the Ukrainian president into propping up conspiracy theories about Joe Biden, to a seven year old child who had his hand caught in the cookie jar.

“I believe that the president has learned from this case,” Collins told CBS news anchor Norah O’Donnell at the time. “The president has been impeached — that’s a pretty big lesson.”

A ridiculous excuse for Collins, who is now trailing way behind her Democratic opponent in the Senate race in Maine, as it's obvious Trump hasn't 'learned his lesson'.

On Wednesday evening, Devlin Barrett and Josh Dawsey of the Washington Post reported that Trump has threatened to fire FBI Director Christopher Wray — who, lest we forget, was appointed by Trump after the firing of James Comey — unless Wray announces a phony investigation into Biden that Trump can use as last-minute ammunition in the presidential campaign.

“Trump wants official action similar to the announcement made 11 days before the last presidential election by then-FBI Director James B. Comey,” Barrett and Dawsey write, referring to Comey’s infamous announcement that “he had reopened an investigation into [Hillary] Clinton’s use of a private email server while she was secretary of state after potential new evidence had been discovered.”

That investigation resulted in no damning information about Clinton, which was entirely predictable. Clinton had been thoroughly investigated for years without a speck of meaningful dirt turned up on her. But that announcement did help turn an election Clinton should have won to Trump’s favor: It caused a surge of undecided voters to break for Trump at the last minute, allowing him to win several important swing states by razor-thin margins.

So there’s one thing Trump was capable of learning: The value of fake scandals to distract from serious issues, such as his own corruption and incompetence. And he’s hoping for a repeat, which is why he’s pressuring Wray to pull a Comey against Biden.

A quick recap of why he was impeached: In the summer of 2019, Trump called the newly elected president of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, and told him that the U.S. would withhold military aid (which had been authorized by Congress) unless Zelensky did Trump “a favor.” That favor was to announce an “investigation” into Biden aimed at propping up the convoluted conspiracy theory about Hunter Biden, a Ukrainian gas company and a fired Ukrainian prosecutor that Giuliani and Trump were trying to push into the mainstream media.

Where's the link, dogdump?

reply

You could do a Google search for yourself if you're that interested.

reply

Or the OP can just paste a link rather than spewing his propaganda, yes?

reply

Go pull your Comey already!

reply

Your mom called again. She said take more yoga classes so it'll be easier for you to try to chortle your own nutsack.

reply

Stop being silly Eric, and go pull your Comey!

In a debate forum such as this, the onus is on the accuser to prove the original poster right or wrong. The poster stated his case. If you disagree then kindly prove him wrong. Otherwise, I'm not sure what you're accomplishing with your replies.

It's debate 101. Anyone can say "Where's the link?" but not everyone will take the time to provide their own counter that proves the original debater wrong.

I assume you don't trust his post, yes? Prove him wrong. Saying "Where's the link?" accomplishes nothing.

Food for thought.

reply

If the onus is on the accuser, shouldn't the onus be on the OP to provide proof to back up his claim? That's debate 101, not to mention common sense.

Since you're new here, you don't know dogdump's MO. He commonly posts slanted, skewed and highly biased opinion posts stating something happened, while providing no hard proof, i.e. and article link. Why? So he can skew and slant his post even further than it already is in order to promulgate his false narrative. It's only recently since he's been called out for his intentional omission, does he provide links and only when it benefits his narrative.

reply

Once you have it, what will you do with it ?

reply

Read it. Duhhhhhhhhhhhh........

reply

Read it ? LOL! I think you mean have 'Mama Ivanna' read it to you, while you take your bath.

You're obviously illiterate.

reply

Then post the link and prove yourself right, dogdump.

Okay. Now you’ll make a generalized insult and run away...again.

Now just look sad and say D’oh. 🥺🥺🥺

reply

Like I told you, you're arguing yourself in circles by not just countering with a link of your own.

If you think someone is full of it then counter them with your own proof. You'll look better in the long run, trust me.

reply

I'm not going to do the work for him. I want to see where his source comes from. I want to see his hard left leaning websites he's visiting.

reply

You don't know how to 'do the work' for yourself, never mind anyone else - especially me, you public moron.

reply

Suit yourself I guess.

reply

I always prefer a link. It gives the story credibility.

reply

Ha "pull a Comey." I'll have to keep that phrase in mind next time someone means well but are causing more harm than good.

reply

It's nice to see Faye Wray has the balls to stand up against him, and won't be his accomplice.

reply

Dogpoop, it looks like you weren't encouraged by your hero's debate performance last night. I don't blame you, I certainly wasn't. In fact, I can't help feeling some tiny smidgen of sympathy for the old man. It's not often that a miscreant like him is so publicly humiliated by his own hand. It was quite a performance. In fact, I've never seen such an accurate caricature of the "Hack Politician Character" portrayed, apart from on a cinema screen.

I think you're quite right to not let up with the propaganda posts, Dog. Keep them coming, right up to the final day. It'll give you something to do.

reply

When they cut away from Biden I thought they might try to slip Jim Carrey in his place. 😅

reply

Haha, yes!

reply

Wow. You sound like you took Agnes Kravitz to the school dance and want everyone to believe she's the prettiest girl in town.
Just make up dumb stuff and keep a straight face.

reply

Did you keep a straight face when you wrote that antiagneskravitz comment, Snips?

reply

They are gone when Crapmala is president anyway.

reply

Exactly. But they won’t be fired because they won’t aid and abet a criminal like they would be if Trump gets back in.
