Thoughts on the final debate?

Worked well for the most part until the rebuttal parts where you can hear Biden making noises (chuckling, smugging, WRONG!) while Trump sometimes goes over the rebuttal time. Moderator is a bit skewed towards Biden but overall she handled it pretty well. Hilarious on Trump once Biden finally admits he wants to get rid of fracking (eventually).

They both gave some decent zingers to one another, throwing shade that each of them had dealings with China and Russia/Ukraine. I'm just surprised Biden didn't mention Trump's Deutsche Bank connection and that both his sons said in the past they get most of their money from Russia.

That Catch and Release... Only 60-75% show up... Which means 25-40% don't. That's still a large number considering the amount that come over the border.

But it’s worth noting that in absolute terms, that’s nearly 140,000 non-detained immigrants who were ordered to be deported between 2012-16 because they were not present in the courtroom, according to Justice Department data. (Though some immigration advocates say that count is high.)

WHO BUILT THE CAGES?

reply

Obama and continued under Trump.

reply

I was quoting trump. He wrecked Biden with that.

reply

Trump 52%

reply

Lol c'mon, you know rasmussen usually favors Trump.

reply

I thought it was definitely better than the last one.

As of this writing, 47 million people have already voted. There was nothing in this debate more important then that number for either candidate.

There's probably some hope in Republican circles on Biden's gaffe...and it was a gaffe in regards to the oil industry.

But I don't think it's going to move the needle for Trump. He's still going to lose PA and lose the election.

reply

I would say it was more a fast flip flop than a gaffe since he keeps repeating he won't ban it then he would but never really goes into detail with it like banning only fracking on Federal land and transitioning to net zero energy for fracking. Something about capturing the pollution or whatever and changing the CO2. The problem with fracking is that is creates earthquakes from what I recall or rather it makes earthquakes happen more often. That and the potential leakage into the water reservoir. I've seen some documentaries where this guy had is water tap become flammable with fracking nearby.

reply

A gaffe is when you say something by accident, Biden genuinely wants to do this OR he is lying to get votes from the regressive left or middle class people that dont need those sorts of jobs

reply

He genuinely wants to do this and he did say it by accident. You wait until after the election to say things like that.

reply

Trump won the debate, but made perhaps one mistake:

The low-IQ comment. I thought that one came out wrong.

I'm foreseeing CNN taking the ball and running with this over the next few days.

reply

What low IQ was that? I don't even remember it now. Which part was he talking about?

reply

Trump even said I shouldn't say this. He still won though.

reply

Anyone that has a work ethic should vote for Trump.

reply

Anyone who has to work for a living shouldn't.
