Let's get this straight: these donations are from people who are not working, and received money from the federal govt. for unemployment. Basically, these people are giving govt money, back to a govt. entity. Anything about that sound messed up to you?

What you suggest would be what the dems want us to believe. Most likely these unemployed workers are just fronts to launder money into the campaign.

No one who’s unemployed would ever donate to a political party.

Maybe they're not poor people that have no job atm? Pretty sure anyone can be on welfare assistance if they meet certain eligibility requirements. Some can still be on it while working and some can be on it when laid off due to COVID. Still, should be looked into for any wrongdoing of sort if there is any.
