Running For Reelection, Trump Talks Like He’s Running For President Of The Confederacy

Donald Trump is running for a second term as president of the United States, but in recent weeks he’s spoken and written as if he wants to be the next president of the Confederacy.

Amid a national uproar over the recent killing of a Black man by a white Minneapolis police officer and an erosion in his own polling numbers, Trump has made the cornerstone of his response a vow to protect monuments and memorials to the leaders of the treasonous rebellion that cost 750,000 lives for the sole purpose of keeping Blacks enslaved.

What an idiot.

Um, those memorials are people like Lincoln and Washington and abolitionists. We should all be defending them. We should all agree that this mob mentality adopted by the Left is going to have very dangerous implications the longer they continue. And all because Dems are scared to lose an election. They might win it but the country is losing because of them.

reply

You always take the effects of rump-ism and ascribe it to the Progressives.
There are no dangerous implications about the unrest people have because of the threat rump followers force us to consider.

Citizens are sick of the accepted status quo -- systemic racism, income inequality, lack of opportunity, lack of affordable housing, inflation vastly outpacing wage growth.
Pubs always will cry Socialism ! and turn a blind eye to the plight of the underclass, then claim it's a lack of pulling themselves up by their bootstraps, or a political agenda that Dems are completely at fault for, after Reagun gutted our social safety net.

People are pissed, and rump is at the top of this pile. He's an uncaring demagogue, and that's being polite.

reply

Where is this systemic racism?

reply

Everyone knows where it is.

reply

Where is it then?

reply

You have to find it. Every sensible person in the world knows where it is.

reply

You mean you know it's everywhere but you can't name where exactly. That's the kind of non-answer I expected. There are literally millions of interactions between the police and black people. The idea we are destroying the system because a few incidents is completely insane. Not to mention there is no proof at all the Floyd murder had anything to do with race.

reply

It's exactly the kind of answer YOU respond with, when asked questions of proof and sources.

reply

On the contrary, I provide logic. The looters were at least half black. Most black people are Democrats. So most of the looters were Democrats. And young, too. You pride yourself on bribing the young and they were there in droves. Again, that means Democrats. But you can provide nothing about any systemic racism at all.

reply

No you don't provide logic. Stop kidding yourself.

reply

I just did. Otherwise, you are saying black people and young people in general are not mostly Democrat. If that is the case, you are delusional.

reply

I lived in a city that made sure it was difficult for Blacks to buy homes there. It was kept on the down-low but known by everyone who was paying attention.
This happened exponentially all over the country, not to mention hiring practices and and all the many injustices against Blacks that have been done by us all.
You are probably much younger than I, but the US has not been kind to the Black Race during it's short tenure here.

Beyonce, R Kelly, and whatever stars of the moment aren't a gauge for what it's been like to be a Black person in America in the last 50-60-100-200 or more years. IMO, this is a displaced culture left abandoned just as the Native American culture was abandoned, and then white people claim they have equal footing just so they don't have to acknowledge the harm done.

reply

Really? Affirmative action. It literally gives black people a huge advantage in school and government and in the military.

reply

Yes, and to let people know how ignorant Black Democrats are they want the Emancipation statue removed. It depicts Lincoln with an unshackled slave rising up to Lincoln’s outstretched left arm. Lincoln’s right hand is holding a copy of the Emancipation Proclamation. All the ignorant Black’s see is a slave kneeling to Lincoln! Maybe if they did research on the statue they would learn it was paid for by ex-slaves! Some times ya just can’t fix stupid! God help us...these people are members of Congress!

reply

I used to feel bad for picking on you, but I don't anymore.
You are the forefront of the unhinged, unenlightened fascist wave.
Everything the common, small people are trying to express is met with government repression, and your own personal revisionist history.

Tearing down an antiquated, accepted trope of Americana isn't a Bad Thing. It forces people to consider what has gone on in our history. Was Washington some blameless hero we must accept without question?
He cannot tell a lie?

Andrew Jackson was likely the worst President when it concerns Genocide, but lets not question that? No! He's a President. He's like a Pharoah, beyond criticism.

Intelligent, informed people question what the gubment is doing. Sheep listen to the ugly rabble of disinformation and Echo it back.

No it wasn’t! Read your truthful American History especially about The War Between the States. You might learn something so you will be able to post with knowledge. Were you aware there were Black slave owners? In fact it was the Blacks who owned slaves before the White plantation owners. FYI: To get you started:

Black people owned slaves so therefore...what?

reply

Just a bit of historical fact belying it was only Whitey who owned slaves. Why so hostile?

reply

Lol!!!!! She has no idea what she’s trying to say. That’s why liberals love her - the gift which keeps on giving!!!

reply

Whether you agree with the monuments or not you do not have the right to just rip them down, that is vandalism.
