And that's with some major Democrat states like New York and California still largely locked down. Democrats tried as hard as possible to tank the US economy into a long term depression but they've failed, with "red" states leading the way toward freedom and prosperity.

And the bar isn't whether they're "higher", as in slight upticks here or there. That was expected and the results have been better so far than most thought they'd be. The goal with the shut downs was never to wait until the virus completely disappeared. It was to bend the curve so we'd have less than the 2 million dead Americans "experts" modeled, with around 100k being the best case scenario with full mitigation practices, to buy time to develop a pandemic fighting infrastructure from scratch, and condition citizens and businesses on mitigation in a practical way going forward.
That was accomplished and undoubtedly saved many lives.
But, as several hundred doctors warned (though it's obvious to any thinking person), prolonged shutdowns themselves are a "mass casualty event". You're ignoring the enormous extra damage being done in those states that are still locked down.

The Democrat states have way more virus AND shut down deaths than the conservative states I mentioned that are leading the way on freedom and prosperity.
