INSANE BIAS: History of psychotic tweets from the Twitter employee who "fact checked" the President.

Meet Yoel Roth, Twitter's "Head of Site Integrity" and the one who incorrectly "fact checked" President Trump. He's a gay activist and Hillary Clinton donor who views Republicans as Nazis and hates most of America. None of his own comments have been fact checked, despite at least some being factually false.

"Twitter’s “Head of Site Integrity” Yoel Roth, who is in charge of the team responsible for developing and enforcing the social media site’s rules, faced heavy criticism Wednesday for previous 2017 tweets in which he referred to team Trump as “ACTUAL NAZIS IN THE WHITE HOUSE”"

"On Nov. 8, 2016 – the date the presidential election was held — Roth mocked Trump and his supporters in a tweet, writing, “I’m just saying, we fly over those states that voted for a racist tangerine for a reason.”

"How does a personality-free bag of farts like Mitch McConnell actually win elections?"

"Roth once compared White House advisor Kellyanne Conway to Nazi propaganda chief Joseph Goebbels.

”Today on Meet The Press, we’re speaking with Joseph Goebbels about the first 100 days…’ – What I hear whenever Kellyanne is on a news show,” Roth wrote, according to a 2017 tweet."

"Roth in 2016 also tweeted his support for then-Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, writing, “I’ve never donated to a presidential campaign before, but I just gave $100 to Hillary for America. We can’t f–k around anymore.”"

It's incredible that they put this guy of all people in charge of policing "integrity" and accuracy. In addition to being a warped, unscrupulous shitbag, he's plain stupid.

These idiots at Twitter may have dug their own company's grave. He's right about one thing. We can't fuck around anymore.

He’s another one who took lessons from Joseph Goebbels:

”If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”

Goebbels would be so proud of this Roth guy. Virtually trained him well. Definitely an oxymoron...Roth, whose words are akin to Goebbels’, calling others NAZIs. It would be amusing if it wasn’t so pathetic and dangerous! Read the above again. Who would ever believe how descriptive those words are of our country. The lefties are crazed! They would be happy if the US caved economically. They would then swarm (like termites) into the forefront to finish the destruction of the great country known as the United States of America!

reply

Well said. We're dealing with people who have totalitarian mind sets and zero scruples.

reply

How is he being gay relevant?

reply

I said he's an activist. A red flag for someone you're entrusting to police in a theoretically neutral way. Of course social media sites shouldn't be policing content to begin with.

reply

I disagree. Personally I don't want to see videos of people being beheaded by extremists coming up on my News Feed, which would undoubtedly happen if social media platforms allowed a free-for-all.

In any case this is ANOTHER big distraction. People dropping dead from a virus which has gripped the US worse than the rest of the globe, cities burning while protesters riot in the streets, and Trump is worried about being fact checked on Twitter. It's fucking astonishing to me that this is a priority for him right now, and yet in some ways it's no surprise at all. His image is all he cares about, and being able to say what he wants without "Fake News" or "Fact Checkers" calling him out.

reply

Oh that's a horseshit deflection. Multiple big things often happen at once. This social media thing is a long time coming and affects more Americans than even the tragic riots in Minneapolis. Trump getting "fact checked" was just the final straw. You underestimate how serious systematically working to silence half the American population is, while rigging the information (propaganda) flow in Orwellian fashion, and how furious conservatives have been for a long time. What Twitter, Google, and FB have been doing is stifling discourse and wrecking democracy. People aren't rioting about it, but it's an untenable situation that needs altering if we're to get off our current trajectory towards national dissolution and/or civil war.

That said, as I posted in my other thread op on this I'm fine with them censoring illegal posts. And only illegal posts. I oppose there even being a "news feed". People should follow whatever sources they want without the host site selectively picking which old media outfits they'll help establish control over the internet.

reply

"Oh that's a horseshit deflection."

WE AGREE! See, I knew we had to have something in common. Happy days.

reply

You stopped reading too soon! An all too common problem among those who rely on "news feeds". ;)

reply

Shut up and let me live in my fantasy world where anything resembling a civil conversation could be achieved in the Politics section ;)

reply

Can we agree for real about something, that the guy who says stuff like this...

“I’m just saying, we fly over those states that voted for a racist tangerine for a reason.”

...isn't fit to be in charge of censoring Americans' speech?

reply

Sure, it's a tacky thing to say.

Does this mean I think the president's words should go unchecked? Sorry, never.

reply

Post your opposing opinion all you want. That's free and open debate in the arena of ideas. But don't censor. And someone that rabidly biased, who actively hates most of the country, certainly shouldn't be in charge of doing that censoring.

reply

Directing people to the truth is not censorship.

reply

That's not what the lying Twitter halfwit did (Trump is right on the substance: https://moviechat.org/bd0000082/Politics/5ed0385e86d49b3c73fbefaa/Jimmy-Carter-2005-Commission-Absentee-ballots-remain-the-largest-source-of-potential-voter-fraud ; even if it's arguable it doesn't call for a dishonest "fact check"), and deleting posts (as they did to a different Trump post talking about riot policy), covering them with a warning label (as they did when he defiantly reposted the deleted tweet), and shadow banning or deplatforming millions of regular conservatives as they've done over the past decade, often coordinating with others like FB and Google to completely remove them from internet discussions at the same time, certainly is censorship of the worst, most Orwellian kind.

If you support that then you oppose free democratic discourse and are an intellectual and moral coward.

reply

Name calling again krl97a. Grow up, it's boring.

reply

No, just telling the truth, unlike your previous post blindly labeling a biased CNN opinion piece "the truth", while ignoring a bipartisan election commission co-chaired by former Democrat President Jimmy Carter and respected Republican statesman James Baker not too many years ago, along with a mountain of other evidence and common sense regarding the vulnerability of mail in ballots to fraud, vote harvesting, and other problems discussed by actual experts for years. At the very least it's a debatable issue and the President posted a valid, widely shared opinion.

You grow up, tim74. Learn to think critically and independently.

reply

I’d prefer to just avoid interacting with you, thanks anyway. Enjoy.

reply

Piss off then. Oh and have a nice day.

reply

Well Trump just might have the last laugh here. If they want to start "fact checking," and I say "fact" loosely, they no longer can be considered a platform of sorts but they're now more like a publisher! This would mean that they can be sued!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Maybe, just maybe Trump set them up for this kind of thing! It took them long enough to bite though. How the mail in voting got them so riled up speaks volumes! The left are Schiffing in their pants!

reply

He sounds like a fun and normal person.

I like how supporting Clinton is seen as some kind of corruption, LOL!

That's what I call THOUGHT POLICE behavior.

Excuse me Officer, but your Trump has tweeted many many horrible things, and apparently they're fine?

Was Trump's tweet factually correct? As far as anyone can tell, it was not.

This is a post of desperation.

reply

All krl’s posts are out of desperation. Haven’t you noticed before? A lonely person desperately seeking attention.

reply

I know you're butthurt but finish your defeat lap.

reply

He sounds like a fun and normal person.

That says more about you than anything, you warped halfwit.
Was Trump's tweet factually correct? As far as anyone can tell, it was not.

He agreed with Jimmy Carter and the bipartisan 2005 election commission, and yes the weight of evidence is overwhelmingly on Trump's side.

https://moviechat.org/bd0000082/Politics/5ed0385e86d49b3c73fbefaa/Jimmy-Carter-2005-Commission-Absentee-ballots-remain-the-largest-source-of-potential-voter-fraud

But it doesn't matter. These political issues are debatable matters of opinion. Self proclaimed "fact checking" typically amounts to some partisan giving his opinion.

The turd in question repeatedly called Republicans "NAZIS", which is factually untrue. He never checked himself.

reply

fuck you, ISIS-lover.

reply

The president should get off Twitter
All it does is cause problems for himself and the world
Very immature

reply

"Problems" oh a tidal wave just hit Lapland, simply because Trump tweeted. LOL

reply

Yeah
Not everybody reads between the lines with that knucklehead

reply

...What?
