Has this board ever changed your political views?

I can’t speak for others but I’ve seen many who’ve benefited from the education we on the right have provided. Some have even thanked me personally.

A better description of this board would be, one side providing cogent arguments backed by facts and evidence. And the other side in a perpetual tantrum screaming orange man bad.

With one doggielemming loser copying and pasting faster than you can say Kinkos. Every group has one. It’s nice we can all sit back and laugh at his perpetual anger and irrelevance.

No, in fact it has reinforced mine, due to seeing what kind of people follow the other side of the aisle. Who wants to be in a party where everyone's an immature, entitle brat; or a psycho who demands the world bow to their madness; or someone who accuses the other side of the very things they are doing; or people who are so damned stupid, they want to betray America to her enemies, and are too stupid to realize that turning America into a socialist backwater will not benefit anybody?

Conservatives have changed my mind about certain things, but they weren't from this board. I've encountered perhaps two or three intelligent foreign conservatives here. One or two have said things which were insightful. Unfortunately, too many American conservatives on this board don't value education and it shows.

Anyway, it's not just about trying to change political views which is unlikely. I don't mind learning different viewpoints.

Lastly, a few people link news and information here and I use it as a shortcut to find out the latest.

Opinions change. When it happens, they either leave or don't come around as much.

More right-wingers have either disappeared or became scarce than left-wingers have. We don't see thrillhouse or his socks any more. Chilone moved to general. Quinto kept begging me to move to this board, then he disappeared. Destinata was a more moderate right-winger and left the Trump board before it was shifted to here. It probably got too difficult for him/her to keep defending Trump. Amerigirl and Gd5150 only post for their echo chamber. I never see them have a back-and-forth discussion with anyone else. It's almost always a 'one and done' if you reply to them and aren't part of their clique. Every discussion with Sandman devolves into him spamming emojis and repeatedly saying "pray tell" in an attempt to annoy you. Krl is really the only one on here that will have a back-and-forth discussion but he disappears for a couple weeks at a time as if he needs to bone up on right-wing talking points before returning.

It seems the only die-hard Trumpers that stick around do it to troll or be as annoying as possible to those who disagree.
