Stimulus Approved - Up to 1,200 Trump bucks per person πŸ€‘

When do the checks go out?

Thank you, democrats. I will be voting for whomever the democratic nominee is.

reply

So your the one that voted for them.

reply

$150B for state and local goverments which they'll doubtless spend on earmarks for political cronies or police militarization for the inevitable civil unrest.

$350B for small businesses. Yeah, I'm sure mom and pop stores will see that money and not some regional retail mogul.

$500B for corporations-socialism for the rich, scraps for the poor.

reply

Let me ask you something. If corps and businesses go under, where will people find jobs?

reply

Oh please. Corporations will survive.

reply

Then answer the question.

reply

He can't....the Dems poison pill will fuck us over worse.

reply

It's so stupid and obvious. If that $500 billion was removed it would've passed instantly. But McConnell's donors had to get their giant cut.

reply

That doesn't add up to 2 trillion... Where's the rest go, Donny's Rainy Easter Fund?

reply

Oh it’s in Pelosi’s hands now. We can expect the Democrats to drag this out past Easter now. Need to figure out some more ways they can slip garbage in to increase their power. Damn the needs of the American people, the Democrat party/media have more important priorities.

reply

Frankly I'm tired of the politics concerning this issue. Money should be going out to people who need it now and the pork and issues unrelated to Corona should be discussed separately.

But regardless who is getting this money, it should be considered a loan, not a gift. Any person, business, corporation should be required to pay it back over a designated amount of time.

reply

I concur.

reply

Why are we sending money to a Mexican brewery?

reply

McConnell had to slip in his $500 billion slush fund for his donors. That's why this is taking so long and why there's so much politics over it.

reply

The people should have to pay the money back as long as the government gives them the time they lost back.

reply

I would think Nancy would want Biden to be the one to bring in the higher minimum wage instead of try to do it in the stimulus bill. But maybe she doesn't think Biden will win and this is the only way right now.

reply

So the Senate bill includes a section where Treasury Sec. Mnuchin can waive the limits on stock buybacks and executive compensation. There it fucking is. The only deterrent is that he'll have to tell Congress. Like he gives a shit.

reply

I believe the dems put a caveat on it that Munchkin can't write any checks to anyone involved in the passing of the bill.

But of course it still means the GOP donors will be taken care of first.

reply

Dems are gonna block it again tomorrow...
