Dow sets another record. The Trump boom rolls on.

27,000!

- The record number of stock market records continues on.
- record unemployment
- all time low unemployment for females
- all time low unemployment for black Americans
- all time low unemployment for Hispanic Americans
- 400% increase in manufacturing jobs
- highs in consumer confidence
- economic growth 400% higher than under the failed Obama presidency

This what happens when the American people elect a pro America, pro capitalist, pro private sector, pro economic growth president. And all this while he single handedly tackles the 650 billion trade deficit with China.

This is MAGA defined. More Americans than ever before pursuing the American dream. Achieving financial independence. From both genders, from every race. Nothing scares the democrat media/party more than people who are financially independent.

The democrats answer, obsessive hate and censorship. No ideas, no solutions. No platform.

What has this got to do with Humpty Trumpty? The stock market rises and drops all the time.

reply

Okay, I'll play your 3rd grade, name calling. obummer couldn't do it. Humpty Trumpty did.

reply

Yep - Trump has the economy on fire, and peace with N Korea is coming. The Dems hate him, they are like little children that didn't get their way.

reply

Well that's all very interesting, but with all due respect I don't really understand posts like this. What is it supposed to achieve other than presenting cherry-picked stats to defend the President and basically trash his political opponents? From a foreigner's point of view I have to say that Trump supporters do seem to be the most defensive on the planet.

Fair enough if you're happy with the direction of your country under Trump, but I feel there's a difference between celebrating success and just listing things to make a point that "Dems are bad".

You hashtag that hate is not debate. I find that extremely ironic. Especially when you are extolling the virtues of a politician who seems to have no hesitation in mocking, ridiculing and name-calling when he is questioned in any way.

reply

And the idiot, biased Dems wont Trump credit for anything.

reply

I totally agree that name calling and childish insults, etc. are ridiculous. Unfortunately, that's the Democrat's MO along with cherry picking. As far as mocking, ridiculing and name-calling, that's all they do to Trump. They will never be civil and a part of me is glad he throws it right back at them. They lose their minds, getting a taste of their own medicine.

reply

boom then bust

reply

You got that right, my friend!

reply

It'll bounce back, as it always does under Trump.

This drop is because of the Fed, not because of Trump

reply

The drop is because of T-rump announcing tarriffs on another $300B worth of goods from China, starting September 1 - just in time for the Christmas season. Retailers panicked (clothing, footwear, electronics, etc. included), announced more store closings, and stocks took a hit.

Had very little - if anything at all - to do with the Feds.

reply

It's all to do with the Fed. Within minutes of the rate cut, stocks dropped.

reply

So China should just be allowed to steal our intellectual property, designs, etc.? Even reasonable democrats realize something has to be done.

reply

Even reasonable republicans realize tariffs aren't the answer - never were, never will be.

reply

What is the answer then?

reply

Don't know what the answer is, but the answer is not tariffs. Ask the farmers in middle America what they think of the tariffs.

reply

If you "don't know what the answer is" then you can't know what the answer isn't.

reply

And again today.

reply

27,000 + baby...!

reply

And it's fallllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllling!

Just three weeks later and we see the 'worst week in 2019'.

This hasn't aged well at all. Just three weeks old and it has aged terribly.

Turnabout's a bitchie, ain't it? For both Trumpie and 5150goingon75.

reply

5150 sure is quiet these days.

reply

van halen...?

reply

could top 30,000 by this fall, top experts are saying...

reply

Experts are saying 2019 will be the 'worst Christmas season ever' once the tariffs are in place next month. Expect more people out of work, as an additional 6,000 - 10,000 stores shutter by year's end.

When are those 'millions of high paying jobs' going to kick in - the ones T-rump promised us three years ago? These retail workers are going to be in need of them - soon!

reply

its quite possible it could drop to obama levels which is around 6,000...

reply

Yes, it does look like it's heading in that direction.

its looking good again, trump?

reply

Not good enough.

reply

its quite possible it could drop to obama levels which is around 6,000...

reply

Or even worse !

reply

Are you predicting or hoping this? "Analysts" have said since Trump took over that the economy would crash but it keeps on rolling. Liberals are hoping for a crash.

reply

T-rump said he was going to bring millions of 'high paying jobs' back to America; starting in factories. So I'm asking - where are they?

These soon-to-be-unemployed retail workers and farmers don't want minimum wage jobs in 'dollar stores' that are overtaking our country's retail environment. They want the 'high paying jobs' T-rump promised America. So I ask - where are they?

reply

Manufacturing jobs have increased by 3.9% since Trump took over.

reply

Where are the high paying manufacturing jobs he promised ?

reply

Define high, and by high I mean not like you when you post your nonsense on here.

reply

High paying jobs in America are considered in the six digit range.

reply

Based on.....

reply

Well maybe the people parked on minimum wage should do something about improving their lives. Sorry, not trying to insult you.

reply

All I know is T-rump promised his supporters and the rest of Americans high paying' jobs, the one the immigrants were going to steal away from them. Republicans claimed the job growth under Obama was made up of minimum wage jobs and low paying jobs - so T-rump was the answer, and he was going to 'fix that'. Where are the high paying jobs?
