I am currently on a Bond marathon, I was asked to post my ranking so I will probably get around to doing it when I am done with the marathon but Quantum of Solace is officially my worst Bond movie, I actually started doing other things like typing this message during the movie because I completely lost interest.
There's a few Bond films I love, some Bond films I just think are alright, and a small few that I think are terrible, and I think Die Another Day isn't just terrible but the absolute worst one.
What makes even worse is that the initial premise is pretty good - Bond captured for 14 months - it was unique and different but you can tell because it was the 40th anniversary since Dr. No, they just thought they'd throw absolutely everything at it, so you get sci-fi elements, Berry paying homage to Ursula Andrews, a cameo for Madonna... and it's just a mess with no suspense or atmosphere.
