Recast Each Bond in a Different Bond Movie

Don't view it as them "replacing" the actor in the movie. So don't not pick a film because of how good the other actor was in it. Just pick the one you think that Bond actor would have been best in, it doesn't necessarily mean they would have been better than the person who actually played the role. This is also kind of an alternate universe thing, so you can cast Daniel Craig in Dr. No for example. Just imagine the Bond actor in their prime doing the part. Also, the film has to stay as is. So don't do a re-imagined DAF with Lazenby for instance.

Anyway, my choices-

Connery- For Your Eyes Only- Connery would work in a lot of different ones (TSWLM, TLD, GE, or maybe any of the Craig ones) and I had a hard time finding one that really stood out. But I think FYEO takes it just it seems to fit a bit more with his more minimal take on the role in the early films, and I could see him doing stuff like the rock climbing that happens in it.

Lazenby- Casino Royale- I wouldn't choose to have Lazenby in any additional Bond films ideally, but one of the distinctive things that some peopel cite about his performance is that he seems less confident, which would fit with the idea of a "rookie" Bond. He also established that he can play "sad" in OHMSS

Moore- Diamonds are Forever- People only bash on this one because it's so comedic, and thus not what you'd expect from Connery. If you were to think of it as one of the Moore films it would hold up much better. Plus the material was right up Moore's alley and he would have hit it out of the park. Also thought of Die Another Day, since Moore's charisma and goofiness is the only thing that could have theoretically made it credible.

Dalton- Casino Royale- There are a lot of options here (GE and FYEO, two he could have actually done in real life) but for me the thing that makes me put Dalton ahead of Craig is thinking of how good a Casino Royale adaptation with him in it could have been. it might have been the best Bond movie ever.

Brosnan- The Living Daylights- As we've discussed here a few times recently, Brosnan's strength as Bond was in the romantic scenes. You could go with a tragic romance here, like OHMSS or CR, but I think a lighter one would really give him the opportunity to shine, and I think the film as a whole fits more with his portrayal than those do.

Craig- License to Kill- QoS not withstanding, Bond has never been angrier than in LTK for me. It would be interesting to see if he could match Dalton's intensity, and he would do great with all the action. Also thought of FRWL and DN because the relative minimalness would play well with his physicality.

Brosnan in FYEO would have been so superb, especially with him and his wife. If that real-life relationship was translated on screen, I think it would be relentlessly heartbreaking though now.
