Wow, JASON BOURNE kicks SPECTRE's ass and then some.

Verily I say unto thee..I am certainly no great fan of the previous Bourne films and hold them partly responsible for the deterioration of the Bond franchise over the past decade by slavishly copying them. However JASON BOURNE is a different kettle of fish altogether; incredibly fast paced with fights and car chases that completely eclipse those in any of Craig's Bond films the story too is much easier to follow than in the earlier Bourne films yet is firmly rooted in the present day and although the hero has more than his fair share of angst at least we are not beaten over the head with it all the time.

Kudos too to director Paul Greengrass for eschewing the horrible frenetic editing that so marred his earlier work and allowing us to see every punch land and to follow the vehicular destruction with ease. The ending suggests there will be another Bourne adventure and if there is all I can say is....I would stand in line for this.

The Bourne Ultimatum does not have clear editing; it's one of the worst examples of this style. So bad, in fact, it clearly scrambled your brain. I might abide if you wanted to throw both QOS and TBU under the shaky bus, but you have no credibility on the subject to defend either.

Now, this is a signature gun, and that is an optical palm reader.
