So after Snape's big reveal, I would think Harry felt differently about him but not so much as to name his child after him.
Snape was ruthlessly mean to Harry and that's not something to easily get over. Sure I could see Harry having a new found respect for the role Snape played in everything but thats it.
Naming a child comes from a place of love and I flat out don't believe Harry loved Snape.

I think it was more out of respect and compassion, rather than love.

I think as Harry grew up he could appreciate Snape had protected him in his own weird way and had sacrificed himself so that the good (including Harry) could prevail. Harry could respect that L.V. could have easily come to full power and completely taken over the wizarding world and he would be dead without Snape's aid. Thus, the baby never would have been without Snape.

Like I said, I totally get the respect thing. Harry is a very compassionate person and could easily have appreciation for what Snape did, I just can't see it going passed that given their history.

Indeed, you are not alone about feeling this way. It is one thing to respect someone and a totally different thing to name your child after someone. And no matter what Harry found out about Snape through those memories, he had still been a Death Eater and an *beep* as a teacher. It makes you wonder too why Ginny went along with naming one of the kids after him...

YES! I always wondered about Ginny's thoughts on the matter too. It seems Harry got to name all the kids. One for his father, one for his mother, and one for his...idk, mentor, father-like figure, whatever he considered Dumbledore.
