What games have you discovered as an adult that you would have loved as a kid?

I Played all these for the first time within the past few years. Great games!

Gameboy: Link's awakening
Dreamcast: Seaman
Coleco Vision: Montezuma's Revenge

As an adult...tomb raider trilogy remastered and the resident evil franchise.

Almost all of them, lol.
Atari was the only game system that came out before I was an adult.

Definitely the Lego series.

I was 32 when the first Star Wars was released and I'm still playing them.

My favorites so far:
1. Harry Potter
2. Pirates of the Caribbean
3. Marvel Superheroes 1

Fallout. My goodness I cannot get enough of this game. The newer ones look too polished and I don't like FPS, so Fallout is my new favorite game. Taking my time with it before moving onto the sequel.

Not sure if this counts because I was still technically a teen back then, but old Metal Gear from 1987 and Metal Gear 2 Solid Snake from 1990 were amazing when I first played them back around 2012. I can't even imagine the blast of playing them before the psx era.

Every MMO game I've ever played

Just about every phone game I'm playing right now. (We didn't have smartphones when I was a kid).

I'm not including the Mass Effect Series because that's rated M and my parents wouldn't have let me play until I was 17.

As an adult, I discovered that I feel very guilty playing games instead of doing something useful. So I mostly practice stock trading here https://www.instaforex.com/reviews_forex_traders than playing.
