So will anyone be using IMDb after the boards close?

Used to use IMDb a lot outside of the forums since well, this site is actually a good little deal having these forums and going "Hey, lets look up some movies or actors!" and not have to switch to Google or something. Then of course one of the good things about this site was looking up an actor, director or movie and was checking out the messages to see what people think about said thing. Yeah it's mostly trolls since there's no real punishment on IMDb considering this is my fourth account in 10 years.

But after removing the boards? Pfft, awful business decision right there. I don't think I'll support a website that makes sh!tty business decisions like that just because......Lol?

Nope, I'll probably just look up everything on Wikipedia. Deleting the message boards is a horrible business decision.

Nah. Who uses IMDb for anything else other than the boards? Terrible decision.

That was actually my choice. Wikipedia is a much better website considering well, you can look up a lot more on that site, ONLY thing that made IMDb better was the fact that it was more dedicated on movies and had a *beep* message board! Take away that *beep* and it's a more worthless version of Wikipedia. IMDb will probably bring the boards back simply because they'll miss that extra ad revenue.

I'll have to wean myself from here. Probably use it to see which actor is in what show/movie, but that'll taper off after a while.

You can't just have your characters announce how they feel! That makes me feel angry!

Probably not. I only really use IMDb these days for this board or to check the films boards and reactions to certain movies.
