Music acts you thought would be big . . .
But didn't reach the heights you thought they would?
Two local bands: Rusted Root and The Clarks. They kind of caught the tail end of the alternative heyday and while both still exist (Rusted Root is on hiatus) they really don't seem to have gotten the traction that they would have if they would have even just a couple years earlier.
Republica. I was really surprised on how few releases they did. I'm not sure if that was just a trend of the market or what but I recently was listening to a few of their singles and was surprised by their lack of original material.
