shareBoth. The more the merrier. I'm able to get more replies, especially if one board is populated with other stuff I have nothing to contribute.
I should also say I only use the General Discussion on here, because the Film General (or the equivalent) isn't as populated. This is actually the first time I will post on a different category. On v2, I use the Film General, though.
Another benefit is comparing the answers.. Every site has their own character, but even that is distorted, since no one knows who ignores who. I'm just guessing MC has more users, so naturally, I have more on Ignore here.
The one con I have here is that the GD is becoming less and less movie (and artistic) oriented, and more trivial and gossip with threads that are meaningless to me.
I actually like that IMDB shut down their message boards, because it spawned three new sites I'm a member of, and still a member of other sites.
