Small musicals with lots of dance
Please help me... respond with list of musicals with small casts (12 or less) that have lots of dance. Asking for a friend. Thx!
shareAndrew Lippa's The Wild Party has a cast of 13 and at least 2 big dance numbers and opportunities for others.
You could do Catch Me If you Can with 12 people. 7 leads and 5 female ensemble. But, you would have to use some of the leads in ensemble roles.
This show has at least 7 ensemble dance numbers. More than any other I have seen.
Reefer Madness NYC cast had 14, the Australian touring cast had 12.
Only 2 dance numbers.

The Drowsy Chaperone has 15 would be hard to cut the cast.
