I said produce consistently. Meaning that I continue to get better and I learn more about my craft which includes writing, filmmaking, music, animation, and imagination. I know that I'm better than most. People know that and rather than advise me on how to pursue or manage my time, they ignore me. Yet, they don't hesitate to turn my idea into on of theirs because I'm so great they can waste my time. And so my argument is that the wannabe artists envy the natural artist do nothing to help established artists.
And I wrote a book about my experience. Most wannabe artists get recognition and before they make even a dollar on any of their work they start believing that they're above people. I could be the most talented artist in the world and if my name is not household they won't show me an ounce of respect. They have an inability to understand the nature of the business without being told.
Yeah but if I knew I had natural talent why would I go to school primarily for art?
And I'm sure the funeral director hires help. Sure, they can't bring you on full time but they could part time. Or a few nights in which they pay under the table.
We have what we seek, it is there all the time, and if we give it time, it will make itself known.
