Forgive me for having so many threads on so many boards, but I feel like asking this: who is your favourite TV singer?
My favourite is Dinah Shore. I also quite like Jane Froman, Perry Como, Aileen Cochrane, Frankie Laine (he had a quite good summer replacement) and Patti Page.

Love Patti Page but then she's always been my favorite 50's female pop singer. I was rather surprised how good Julius La Rosa was, his stardom was intense but short-lived but he was a very good "easy listening" male vocalist.

I'm not sure what you mean by a TV singer. A singer who had their own TV show perhaps? If so, my favorites are Dean Martin, Andy Williams and Perry Como.
