I just rewatched Chariots of Fire this morning after many years. Naturally, it was a somewhat different but nevertheless very positive and stirring movie experience, at least imo. It won Best Picture of 1981 but seems to be very underrated.
I don't know if Dewey ever commented on it anywhere here but I would have been interested in his take.
I have never watched it. Will see if I can find it. Love Vangelis anyway so that is a bonus already.
