IMDb's King of Masked Singer (12th King Crowned)
I'm back with a new type of idol-game. This format is inspired by a South Korean variety variety show. The actual show showcases singers in pop bands, rappers, singers who were popular in yester years, actors, broadcasters, hosts, actors, theatre performers, models, athletes, comedians, music execs, etc. who wears a mask and outfits that makes them unrecognisable. All they had to go on was their singing voice as even their speaking voice are distorted. The contestants are matched-up annd the celebrity panel and stage audience cast their votes between the two who they want to move on.
For this IMDb game, 8 anonymous players each round will be playing in a round. They are randomly match-up. 2 anonymous judges and I will be judging the songs and choosing who they want to move on from each round. Once eliminated, the player will be "unmasked" and I will reveal who is the player who submitted that song. The winning player will remain masked and move on to the next round. The final player left standing after 3 parts of the round will be crowned the King of Masked Singer and will remain masked.
The next round, 8 players will again submit their picks until 1 winner remains. That winner will then face-off against the previous round's winner to see who gets the King of Masked Singer's throne. The losing player gets unmasked and the winner becomes the King and will defend their throne in the next round.
This game is more of an on-going game than a seasonal one although I might take a break in between and start it off again as a new season.
Players and non-players are allowed to comment on this thread but they cannot reveal themselves until they are eliminated. The coaches will also be revealed once the King is crowned.
It's always Song of Choice for the players's submissions. And songs cannot be submitted again once it has already been submitted.
Round 1 has already started. If you want to play or judge for the upcoming rounds, please PM Me. Eliminated players do have a chance to play or judge in the next rounds so it doesn't mean you stop playing once you are eliminated. The 1st part of Round 1's results will be up shortly. Stay tuned!
